The General Foods Corporation, it is reported, has purchased a tract of land . , of about fifty acres at East Marion with . shore frontage . The property which is Suffolk Times,familiarly known as the "Wind Mill " 2/20/86.property , is located east of the Fish es­ . tate. A large brick building of modern type -construction, will be erected on the · property . A portion of this building will be utilized as an oyster opening and shipping plant for the Long Island Oys­ ter Fanns ofwhich Capt. Chris. Jensen of Greenport, is the local manager. The present oPening shops of the company . which have for a number of years been located on the property of the H.W. Sweet Ship Yard, have outgrown their ~~esent location.
