Residen­ ces in the immediate area are of high architectural integrity, of varying historic date. . . 18. The ·milestones in Southold were restored by Mr. Archibald Young (age 77) prior to 1966. Of the 24 milestones between Laurel and Orient Pt. only 3 are missing. SIGNIFICANCE 19 .
