5. Evidence of Structural Modifications: -Expansions to the north wing, stucco
has been replaced with wooden shingles in sections, house still retains
stylistic qualities of original structure.
6. Notes: -Handsome gable roof house contributes significantly to the historic
viewshed and landscape of Orient. Property originally part of “The Cedars”
(0R-3), and was part of 1906 subdivision for each of William Wilson
Stephenson’s children; OR-4 was set aside for daughter Ruth Stephenson, who
married the houses architect, Beverly King.
