Tarn Howell had responded in a. letter dated December 19. 2002, which Lias
followed by iso letter by D&B dated January 3, 2003, rpgaesting additional information. A
respo:msc to the January 3 letter was provided by Bob Terry at the meeting and hrielly
reviewed. D&B will provide a more detailed review and provide comments, if regtaired.

The Town has tate couiraots to sign. Construction may begin its a few weeks.
4. Status of Construction an 17 -acre Parcel
Sand is being screened for the Town Highway Departzz)eut wid work is being

5. Replacornont of Sand Along the McBride Properly and
Grading of Borrow Pit Perimeter Road and Cut Arcas
Bob 'Terry stated that this item has been completed. Also discussed was the
completion of construction of an approximate 2 -acre pad at the bottom of the road down to
the Borrow Pit.
6. Status of Completion and Testing of Gas Monitorhig Wtffls Along

Testing of gas wells has not indicated the presence of metbariv, gas, Tom Maher
provided a list of items that needed to be completed on all ol" the wells installed to date.
Torn stated that there would be no payment for the wells until they are complete, including
developmeitt of theggroimdwatcr wells, except for the on-site pads which can be installed in
the spring. Bob Terry stated the the final gas and groundwater monitoring wells M11 be
instalicd this week,
7. Status of Installation of Vinyl Coated Fonec Along Boandary of

Residenti I Aa. and 12 -foot High al —Ali- _b Fence by Collection Center
Installation of fence along Route 48 and the residential area has been completed and
the existing feace by the Collection Center will remain. Bob Terry said that be will repair
about a 3W -foot section along the existing fence.
8. Status of New Access Road to Cox Lane
The Town i5 waiting for a determination from the Suffolk County Department of
Health Services regarding Deed for any rernediation.

This will. be completed during construction of Recharge Basica No. 3 in the string.
Bob Terry reported no additional erosion has occurred in this area.
10. lvYSDFC Monitoring Well O�
NYSDEC was informed when the deep well installation was going to be performed,
but never came to the landfill. Bob Terry will notify Igor Sikirlc that -the ficial deep u ell
will be installed this -,veek..

The Town has no conimants �u:ad Bob Terry provided his con3inents in a letter to
D&B dated December 30, 2002.

McLean still is preparing these costs.
13. Protection of Erosion Control Bre kel
Bob Terry was inforned by Torn Maher that the tarps had blown off the stockpiled
blankets and that not only the tops of the stockpiles be covered, but also the sides, and that
the tarps should be better secured. Bob said that this would be taken care of tomorrow and
tires would be placed to secure the tarps. Tom expressed that this previously had beeti
stated, but Never accomplished. Bob stated that the rolls of blankets on the landfill are
partial rolls and will be discarded and not used_

14. Rc lacement of Concrete Blocks Along Road to 17-Acr Parcel
Bob Terry stated that this is proceeding and is nearly complete.
15. Trailer Removal
Bob Terry stated that the D&B trailer has been removed, but that he has elected to
retain his at the site.
10. Easement Termination
The Town has terminated ]Krupski; the residential area can be terminated as soon as
possible; Fluger and Corrazini can be tcrininatcd by January 31; remaining will be McBride
and Shroder.
17. Retaining Wall Along McBride Properly_
Alternative of a permanent easement along, McBride property an place of the
retaining wall will be discussed with McBride this week.
18. Scraping of Borrow Pit
Bob Terry stated that this has been completed.
19. Schedule for Completion of All Remaining Work
The list of remaining work prepared by D&B was discussed and a schedule agreed
upon (see attachment).

20. Daily Schedule of Work for Next/This Weck

21. Leaf Bars
Bob Terry stated that lie will fill 200 bags with leaves this week.

Bob Terry will provide a proposal to the Town for installation of a ibnee along the
Collection Center.

Jim Dunchu.ck and Bob Terry will talk with Flugcr next week after McLean restake;s
property boundary.
24. Spring Schedule
Bob Teny stated that he intends to start mmufactuiing topsoil about March 15 and
will complete all work and will demobilize by .May 31, 2003.
