1. s ammerlts on Minutes of Previous "January 17,2003) Meeting
Bob Ten -y stated that he had no comments on the January 17, 2003, Progress
Meeting minutes.
2. Ltatus of Installation of Replacement Water SuuL1y W1ell
The Town needs to review specifications and contract likely will be signed this
week -
i. Status of Construction on 17 -acre Parcel
No work performed since the last Progress Meeting due to cold weather. Screening
recommenced today.
4. Status of Completion acid Testing of Gas Monitoring Wells
and Completion of Groundwater Monitoring Wells
Gas monitoring wells have not been tested since the last Progress Meetings but are
p1muied to be tested this week. Bob Terry stated that all wells are complete, except for
concrete pads, and will confirm with Tim Trowell today.

5. Status of New Access Road to Cox Lane
The Town still is waiting to hear from SCDHS regarding soil chemical results. Tim
nanchuck stated that Corraxini has requested privacy slats along his property.
6. Costs for Additional Surveys
Still waiting for these costs. Bob Terry stated that he will provide the costs to Tom
Maher this week. Bob estimated the additional costs to be approximately $70,000,
although some of the cost may be related to the 17 -acre parcel
7. Protection of Erosion Control Blanket
Bob Terry stated that all of the erosion control blanket has been covered properly
and would inspect and confirm today with Tim Howell.
8. Replacement of Concrete Blocks A1on , Road to 17 -Acre Parcel
Bob Terry stated that no blocks have been placed/manufactmed since the last
Progress Meeting due to the cold weather.
9. Easement Termination
No change since the last meeting.
10. Retaining Wall/Easement Along McBride Property/Relocation of Road
McBride has not gotten back to the Town regarding acceptance of a permanent
easement. D&B, as the Town's preference, is pursuing relocation of the roadway along the
McBride property.

11. Grading. of Transition Area
D&B will perform survey work this week to determine areas along the eastern
boundary that cannot be graded to a inilihnuln of 21,1 slope to the preconstruction
elevations at the property line.
12. Split Rail Fence Proposal
The Town will contract separately to construct this fence.
13. Removal of Fluster Material
The Town has not notified Fluger; but Aill do so before temporary road along east
side of landfill is removed.
14. Completion of All Remaining Work
Tom Maher went over the list of remaining work to date and there were no changes
since the last Progress Meeting,
13. Schedule of Work for Next Two Weeks
Boli Terry stated that only screening sand on the 17 -acre parcel will take place
during the next two weeks.
16. Power Requirements
The Town still needs to provide this to Bob Terry.

17. Manufacture of Compost
Am Bunchuck said that he expects to have approximately 13,000 cy of compost=
including material currently in the Borrow Pit, in six weeks (--- March 15),
18. Construction of Swing Gates
Jim Bunchuck stated his preference for placement of three swing gates at the
landfill. Bob Terry stated that he will provide Jim with a cost proposal for the swing gates.
Only one of the two contract gates will be installed.
