1. Comments on Minutes of Previous (May 2, 2003) Meeting
Bob Terry stated that he did not have a chance to review the previous (May 2, 2003)
meeting minutes and Jim Bunchuck had no comments.
2. Status of Installation of Replacement Water SupplyWll
Jim Bunchuck stated that he is considering moving the water supply well to the
Compost Facility to serve both the Compost Facility and the landfill.
3. Status of Construction on 17 -acre Parcel
Bob Terry stated that power presently is being installed by Ocean Electric and the
concrete blocks along the road will be installed next week.
4. Status of Completion and Testing of Gas Monitoring Wells
and Completion of Groundwater Monitoring Wells
Bob Terry stated that he did not know if the wells have been completed, but will
inspect the wells with Frank DeVita (D&B) next week. Tom Maher reported that recent
testing of gas monitoring wells still indicates elevated readings in Monitoring Well No. 6.
Tom asked Bob the status of the previously requested installation of additional vents with
wind turbines in the southeast gas migration control trench. Bob stated that this was yet to

be performed, but would be completed next week or the first week in June. Tom
recommended to Jim Bunchuck that the Town install continuous gas monitors and alarms
in the Scale House and Collection Center buildings.
5. Status of New Access Road to Cox Lane
Jim Bunchuck stated that the exchange of property with Corrazini has been
completed and Bob Terry can proceed to clear the new access road to Cox Lane.
6. Replacement of Concrete Blocks Along Road to 17 -Acre Parcel
Bob Terry stated that the replacement of the concrete blocks will occur after
completion of paving the road.
7. Easement Termination
Jim Bunchuck stated that all of the easements will be terminated in the first week in
June.
8. Retaining Wall/Easement Along McBride Propegy/Relocation of Road
Bob Terry stated that the road will be relocated late next week.
9. Grading of Transition Areas
Bob Terry stated that the grading of the transition areas is complete, except for
construction of a swale/catchment trench along the Fluger property.
10. Removal of Fluger Material
Jim Bunchuck stated that relocation of Fluger's material is completed.

11. Town Power Requirements
Bob Terry stated that he provided the Town with an estimate of approximately
$29,500 to provide the additional power requested by Jim Bunchuck, and that the work
presently is being performed.
12. Manufacture of Topsoil
Bob Terry stated that the manufacture of topsoil is complete, and placement
basically is complete, except for the recharge basins and some transition areas.
13. Fencing
Jim Bunchuck and Bob Terry stated that the Town will forego installation of chain
link fencing along the eastern boundary of the landfill in a no cost exchange for installation
of a sound barrier along the southeastern portion of the property line. In place of the chain
link fencing, Jim asked Bob to place construction fence along the eastern boundary as a
temporary measure.
14. Completion of Submittals
Bob Terry acknowledged that he still needs to complete some submittals. Tom
Maher requested that all submittals be completed by the end of next week, to which Bob
agreed.
15. Completion of Remaining Work
Discussed in the other items.

16. Completion of Recharge Basins
Bob Terry stated that the recharge basins will be completed next week.
17. Wildflower Seed
Bob Terry stated that the wildflower seeding will be performed at an additional cost
of $1,300.
18. Paving
Bob Terry stated that the paving will be completed in the first or second week of
June, depending on the Town providing crushed glass for the manufacture of asphalt. Jim
Bunchuck stated that he expects a credit for use of the crushed glass, to which Bob agreed.
Tom Maher recommended painting lines on the roads to separate traffic and keep vehicles
off the edge of the roads. Jim agreed with this recommendation, and will make
arrangements to paint lines in the roads after paving is completed.
19. Change Order No. 13
Bob Terry stated that he will sign the change orders noting items to which he
objects.
20. Asphalt Curb
Tom Maher stated that he approves Bob Terry's proposal to construct the curbs as a
"tip up" monolithic pour curb rather than separately forming the curb. However, Tom
stated that the curb should be 6 inches in height rather than the 4 to 5 inches proposed, and
that the asphalt be well compacted, to which Bob Terry agreed.

Replacement of Rip Rap with Stone
Bob Terry suggested that large stone replace much of the rip -rap specified for the
recharge basins, which would result in a cost savings to the Town, to which Tom Maher
and Jim Bunchuck agreed. Tom and Bob agreed to the following:
Recharge Basin No. 1 - rip -rap to a distance of 10 feet from the headwall apron
and the remainder large stone
Recharge Basin No. 2 - no rip -rap, only stone
Recharge Basin No. 3 - rip -rap to a distance of 20 feet from the headwall apron
and the end of the swales and the remainder large stone.
Catch Basin by Scale House
Jim Bunchuck requested and Bob Terry agreed to install a catch basin by the scale
house and connect it to the drainage system- along the southwestern boundary of the
landfill.
