Tom Maher asked Bob 'ferry it" Mclean has tinished stakine the eastern portion
_ of the landfill. Bob answered no, and said McLean will be Here Monday and 'Tuesday of
next week to finish the east side, stake the swales in the southwest portion of the west
side and to survey the southwest drainage system to provide the as -built. Tom asked if
the property line on the east side has been staked_ Bob said it has not. but that it also
would be next week. Bob also said that Terry needs to receive the revised grading plan
for the southeast corner of the east side, and that he has spoken to Frank ]DeV'ita of D&B
on the issue. Tom confirmed that Frank is working on the plan. Bob added that he needs
the plan to stake the area in order to verify the aniount of till needed in the area. Bob

continued to say that once McLean is finished staking the areas previously mentioned, he
will be able to provide a work schedule, and added that if the Town grinds brush this
weekend, they may have to move wood chips on Monday.
Tom stated that after subgrade is completed on the eastern portion of the landfill,
he would like a survey taken prior to placement of gas venting material. Tom continued
to say that if we have an acceptable survey of the completed subgrade, a survey of the top
of the gas venting layer may not be needed as the 1 -foot layer of gds venting sand can be
controlled and verified. Bob suggested surveying thm top of the gas venting layer, since
that was done on the west side, Tom agreed, but said he would still like to' have a survey
of the top of subgrade to avoid any of the difficulties encountered on the west side.
Bob stated his concern over Terry's payment for the waste previously cut in the
southeast corner of the east side. Bob explained that the area was cut according to the
original grading plan and that now the revised grades require the area to be filled, Tom
said the existing conditions need to be compared to the original surrey for payment, but
said it appears the area, may have been overcut, Bob replied that cuts were made to
provide access to Waste Excavation Area 42, for which he was paid. Torn asked if there
was a survey taken after the initial cuts, but before Waste Excavation Area #,2 was dug.
Bob said there was another survey taken, but that he is unsure if it was taken before the
work on Waste Excavation Area #2 began. Tole asked Bob and Chris Morris to look into
the matter.
4. Nonpotable Well — Redesign Construction Cost Estimate
and Submittal of Permit Application

well. Tom asked Bob if they are proceeding with the permitting process. Bob asked if
they should, since the specifications for the well mlghr change. Tom replied yes,
explaining that since the well location will not change arI well capacity, if changed, Will

10. Status of Backfill of Recharge Basin #4
and Construction of Eastern Drainaee System
Bob Terry said they are waiting to have the elevations in Recharge Basila #4
staked before continuing. Bob also said they are waiting on one more drill sheet for the
precast structures for the eastern drainage. system before completing the fmal submittal.
Bob continued saying that they plan to begin on the low end of the eastern drainage
system and that if approval for that area is given, the work possibly could begin toward
the end of next week.

#4 continues.
12. Status of As-Bualt drawing for Southwest Drainage System
See Item 3.
13. Status of Discussions with Shroder and McBride
Chris Morris said that Shroder seems amel)able to cutting the area down Anther
than six feet. Tom Maher asked if that included the area extending to the property line.
Chris answered, yes, and said we will have to work with Shroder as the project
progresses, as he primarily is concerned with how the area will look when finished. Bob
asked where the material cut from the area should be placed in order to avoid interfering
with the survey, and suggested the borrow pit. Bob then pointed out that would require
charging to move the material twice which should be avoided. Tom asked how much
material likely is to be stripped from the area. Bob and. Chris Morris estimated the
volume to be 20' by 200' by 10' thick; which equals approximately 2,000 cy. Bob
suggested that they complete the east side slope, have it surveyed and store the material at
the toe of the slope. Tom agreed to the plan.

15. Schedule of Forkf x Ne W
Tom Maher informed Bob Terry that he would like a daily schedule submitted
weekly in the future, and that he would like 48-hour notification for any changes to avoid
staffing problems.
16. Schedule to Manufacture Topsoil
Tom Maher asked Bob Terry when he will need topsoil. Bob said he would like
to begin seeding the west side this spring, but he is unsure of whether or not he will have
the time. Bob stated that he needs to discuss the issue with Jim Bunchuck, and that he
feels the Town is going to be short on compost- Tom said he would like to have the west
side completed in order to help the fall schedule.
17. Cather

daily cover requirements for newly exposed waste on the east side. Torn asked where the
daily cover material would come from. Bob responded that the loam and glass soil from
the borrow pit stockpile could be used, but that there is not much left. Bob also
suggested using the loamlwood chip mix from the borrow pit. Tom agreed to the use of
the mix as long as it is splvad thin and only after approval of D&B.
