1. Minutes of Previous (May 24, 2002) Meeting
Bob Terry is having his comments typed and will submit them shortly.
2. Status of Survaing of Eastern Drainage System and Manhole #3 by McLean
Tom Maher said that because Terry had not followed up in having McLean
forward the pipe inverts for the northern portion of the eastern drainage system, D&B had
contacted McLean directly and received the information, which Tom said appears to be
OK. As for McLean reshooting the elevations at Manhole #3 (southwest drainage
system), Bob Terry said that McLean probably would do so next week.
3. Cost for Fire Department to Install the Non -potable Supply Well
Jim Bunchuck said he still does not have the cost but has been promised the
information by next week.

4. Status of Submittals
Tim Howell said he is preparing a response to D&B's May 20, 2002, letter
containing comments on the concrete structures for the eastern drainage system. Also,
Tim acknowledged owing D&B information regarding the seal for the boot to be installed
on the southwestern drainage system, stilling basin.
5. Test Results of Vegetative Cover Mix by the Town and Terry
The Town's laboratory, Eco Test, reran organic content analyses on three samples
as per the specification requirement (ASTM D2974) after having initially run the test as
per EPA Method 160.4. All samples, for both testing methods, had organic content
greater than the 5 percent minimum as required by the contract specifications. Terry's
laboratory, ' Cornell University, applied a "correction factor" to its results run by the
ASTM method. Tim Howell's letter to" Tom Maher, dated May 29, 2002, summarized
these findings. Since Cornell's results showed greater than 5 percent organic content
without the correction factor (correction factor deemed not appropriate by Tom Maher
considering the contents/source [leaf compost] of the samples), it was agreed by Bob
Terry and Tom that the 3:2:1 blend of compost: topsoil (with arsenic): sand, respectively,
is a proper blend for the vegetative cover mix.
6. Status of Completion of Permanent Pad for 17 -acre Parcel
Bob Terry said the permanent pad construction will be -such that within two weeks
the Town can move , its operation from the approximately 3 -acre area it now occupies to
the north of the pad on to the pad. This then will allow Terry to begin screening sand on
the 3 -acre area. As for the 11/2 -acre area now being used by the public for dumping brush,
Jim Bunchuck said he probably will close that area off to the public for about two weeks
in order for Terry to access it for further screening of sand.

7. Status of Sand Screening and Testing
Bob Terry said there is no sand screening being performed at the present time.
8. Status of Soil Test Results
Tim Howell collected several soil samples of the gas venting material (screened
sand ,from 17 -acre parcel) on the east half of the landfill, as well as samples of the BPL
on the permanent road (to 17 -acre parcel). Tim also is helping to compile a listing of all
soil samples taken and results obtained thus far.
9. Status of Further Re rg ading Area of Shroder Property
Shroder has been screening sand and may have taken some Town sand that was
placed on the construction easement. Jim Bunchuck made a call to Shroder to warn him
of the possible mistake and not to take any more sand from the easement. Final regrading
of this area by Terry still is to be done.
10. Schedule to Manufacture Topsoil
Tim Howell provided a letter from himself to Tom Maher, dated May 31, 2002,
wherein he proposes costs for Terry to screen compost for the Town which is needed for
the vegetative cover mix. Jim Mulligan estimated the current Town stockpile of
unscreened compost in the Borrow Pit to be 2,000 cy. Jim Bunchuck decided that the
Town could do the screening, however. Consideration is being given to use some
screened wood chips to augment the compost needed.
11. Daily Schedule of Work for Next Two Weeks
Tim Howell handed out their schedule of work for next week.

12. Status of Request for Time Extension
John Romanelli said the Town Board is meeting on Monday, June 3, 2002, to
consider Terry's request for a time extension and did not foresee a problem with its
approval. Tom Maher asked Bob Terry to resubmit an updated construction schedule by
Wednesday, June 5, 2002, and Bob agreed to do so.
13. Schedule for Construction of Permanent Road
Tim Howell provided a letter from himself to Tom Maher, dated May 31, 2002, in
which Terry proposes to use stone fill on the north side of the permanent road at no
additional cost to the Town. Tom said his office will review the proposal and get back to
Terry by Monday, June 3, 2002. Bob Terry said he expects the road construction to take
about one month to complete.
14. Status of April 12, 2002, Project Schedule as of May 24, 2002
Tom Maher had written a letter dated May 30, 2002, to Bob Terry outlining those
items where Terry is behind the April 12, 2002, construction schedule. Bob Terry said he
is responding to this letter in writing.
15. Responses Due
