Terry Contracting & ]Materials, Inc. 1. - Minutes of Previous (May 31, 2002) Meeting No comments on the minutes. 2. Status of Surveying of Eastern Drainage System and Manhole 93 (Southwest Drainage._System) by McLegn 01003/007 McLean has surveyed both but Torn Maher said he has not received the information as yet. Bob Terry said he will have McLean send the information by the end of today. 3. Cost for Fire Department to Install the N=otable Supply Well Tom Maher has received the cost front Jim Bunchuck, which is $2$,000 including the electrical work. ~}1314rr0613201(A61) 1 06/18/2002 TUE 12:26 FAX a 4. Status. of Submittals Q004/007 Tim Howell handed to Torn Maher submittals on the liner certification and eastern drainage system. Torn again requested that, in the future, Terry send one copy of all submittals regarding geosynthetics and soils data directly to Tectonic Engineering. 5. Test Results of Vegetative Cover Infix by the Town and Terri Bob Term expressed concem over the minimum 5 percent organic content required in the final blended mixture of 3 parts compost, 2 parts topsoil and 1 part sand. Tom. Maher asked Jim Mulligan to take the required samples, as per the specifications, on the final blended mix, which will then determine what action might be necessary, if any. It is expected that the blended mix will be ready in about 2 to 3 weeks. b. Status of Completion of Permanent lead for 17-gc Parcel Jim Bunchuck expressed concern on the slow progress in creating the permanent RCA pad. Torn Maher suggested getting Janie Richter of the Town more involved to work out problems together with Jiro and Bob Terry. Jim also has not been. ,able to get H2M to provide assistance on the berm design. John Romanelli said he will call both Jamie Richter and H2M to help Jim out. Bob Terry said. there may come a time when he will have a problem with manpower doing toroth the landfall and compost facility work; however, based on the existing situation, Bob did not foresee any delays in completing the landfill closure. Tom Maher said that he would not recommend to the Town any further contract extension beyond that recently approved for completion of the landfill project, and that it is Bob's responsibility to provide adequate equipment and manpower to complete both projects according to schedule. 7. Status of Soil Test Results 0005/007 All required soil testing has been completed and the results are satisfactory according to Tim. Howell. 9. Status of Further Regradiney Area of shroder Property The regrading by the Sbroder property is neat complete and Bob Terry said this will be completed after fuiisMag 'work on the east half of the landfill. 10. Schedule to Manufacture Topsoil Approximately 3,000 cy of vegetative cover mix has been made to date with a goal to make 39,000 cy total. It. Dai1y Schedule of Work fur Next Two alecks Tim Howell said he will have the schedule to Jim MulUgan by this afternoon. 12. _Status of Request for Time Extension Terry's request for the time extension has been approved by the Town and Bob Terry has been given the Change Order by Tom Maher. 13. Schedule for Construction of Permanent Road Tom Maher pointed out that Terry's June 6, 2002, project schedule calls for ' the permanent road construction to begin during the first week of July, Tom wvilI have a road construction inspcetor from D&B on-site at that time. 01310061320i(RO) 3 06/16/2002 TUE 12:27 FAX 14. Revised Construction S.QhIi Bob Terry has submitted the new schedule dated Janne 6, 2002. 15. ch,dule for Installation of Gas Monitoring_ Wells along Southwestern B4undaTI 0006/007 Bob Terry said his subcontractor, Cassola Well Drilling, will be on-site by next Wednesday (June 19, 2002) to begin installing the four gas monitoring wells along the southwestein boundary. 16. Responses Due Stilling Basin Shop —Drawing Information — Bob Terry said he will have this by the next progress meeting. - Revised Chenango Cost Bgd2W for phased Liner Installation of West Side — Tim Howell said he will call Chenango to submit a more refined cost breakdown (man- hours, etc.) than that contained in their previous letter. i��V' Jim Bunchuck said that Terry can no longer fall his water tanker at the recycling center well due to interference with Town operations. Bob Terry said he will have the electrical work completed by this Monday at the fire well on Cox Lane so that his tanker can then be filled from that location as previously requested.
