Minutes of Previous (June 12, 2002) Meeting Bob Terry said he did not recall having said that "McLean will have the information (invert elevations of eastern drainage system and Manhole #3 — southwest drainage system) sent to Tom Maher by the end of today (June 12, 2002). Jim Mulligan said his notes of the meeting show this was said. This refers to Item #2 of those minutes. No other comments by anyone. 2. Status of Surveying of Eastern Drainage System and Manhole #3 (Southwest Drainage System) by McLean Completed "as -built" drawings still are to be submitted, but invert elevations for these two items submitted to D&B appear to be OK as per Tom Maher. 3. Status of Submittals Tim Howell said he owes D&B information on the liner roll certifications. 0 1314/r0621201(RO1) 1 G 4. Status of Completion of Permanent Pad for 17 -Acre Parcel Bob Terry recently has met with Jamie Richter of the Town. Proof rolling of the area recently graded will be performed and fabric and RCA then installed. A 25 -foot wide shelf and 6- to 8 -foot high berm still is to be constructed along the western property boundary for a distance of about 1,900 feet. Approximately 15,000 cy of sand is needed here. Another 10,000 cy of sand may be needed for the eastern side for a total of 25,000 cy. It was agreed that work on the eastern side would not be performed until after work on the landfill is completed. 5. Status of Sand Screening and Testing Bob Terry said they performed several days of sand screening recently, but nothing is now being screened. 6. Status of Soil Test Results Tim Howell said he still has to compile the summary of test results. 7. Status of Further Regrading Area of Shroder Property Although not finished, much of the area has been regraded. 8. Schedule to Manufacture Topsoil Terry still is manufacturing the vegetative cover mix (estimate is that 8,000 to 10,000 cy manufactured thus far). Jim Bunchuck said he only wants Terry to manufacture that amount needed for the landfill which is about 32,000 cy. Bob Terry asked Tom Maher if D&B could develop a plan showing where the vegetative cover mix is to be applied and the associated quantity. Tom said he will have this done. It is agreed to perform a pilot test by screening the mixed compost to provide a uniform blend. The Town will screen the compost. Once the 0 1314/T0621201 (RO 1) 2 R vegetative cover mix is screened, Jim Mulligan is to take a sample and send it to Tectonic's laboratory for organic content and pH analysis. 9. Daily Schedule of Work for Next 2 Weeks Tim Howell distributed a copy of their work schedule for next week. 10. Execution of Chanize Order for Time Extension Jim Bunchuck gave Tom Maher and Bob Terry the signed change order for the time extension. 11. Schedule for Construction of Permanent Road Bob Terry said they expect to begin laying fabric and RCA later next week on the permanent road. Tom Maher said he will send a road inspector to the site once work begins. Bob said that 6 inches of RCA will be put under the concrete barriers. 12. Status for Installation of Gas Monitoring Wells Along Southwestern Boundary Cassola well drillers on-site from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2002. They augured 20 feet down at gas monitoring Well #3 along the southwestern boundary of the landfill. This morning, it became known that Cassola did not have the well screens and gravel pack as per the contract specifications so that work was stopped. and Cassola left the site. They are ordering the new well screens and gravel pack, and probably will be on-site to continue installing the four gas monitoring wells late next week. It was agreed between Tom Maher and Bob Terry that D&B would assume the well logging duties and, therefore, Terry will not have to have a geologist performing these duties. 01314/rO621201(ROl) 3 13. Schedule of Use of Cox Lane Fire Well Bob Terry reported that the Cox Lane well is operational as of today and, therefore, will be used to fill his water tanks for dust control and compaction, if required, henceforth. 14. Responses Due - Stilling Basin Shop Drawing Information — Tim Howell distributed the shop drawing (under cover letter of June 20, 2002, to Tom Maher from Tim Howell) showing the method of attaching the pipe boot to the stilling basin structure. Tom said his office will review same. - Revised Chenango Cost Backup for Phased Liner Installation of West Side — Tim Howell said he has been in contact with Chenango and is working on getting the detailed cost information as per Tom Maher's request. 15. Other Jim Bunchuck said the Town Board has authorized the Fire Department to construct the nonpotable water supply well, but the Fire Department has determined that they must go out to bid on this contract. Jim Bunchuck questioned what is being done regarding paperwork on the MBE/WBE requirements for the Town's grant. Bob Terry said he is meeting the goals and Tom Maher suggested to Bob that a Progress Utilization Report be submitted to document this. 0 1314/r0621201(RO1) 4
