1. Minutes of Previous (June 20, 2002) Meeting I
-VJ
Tim Howell had no comments and Bob Terry said he had not read the minutes and will
read same this afternoon.
2. Status of Submittals
Submittal of laboratory tests for proposed use of RCA in place of crushed stone as the
permanent road subbase may be required pending review of the proposed use of RCA by D&B.
3. Status of Completion of Permanent Pad for 17 -Acre Parcel
Bob Terry stated they completed the enlargement of the pad last Thursday.
4. Status of Sand Screening and Testing
Bob Terry said they are continuing to screen periodically and, if the Town were to move
the brush piles in the 1 %2 acre center area on the 17 -acre parcel, he could access that area for

further sand screening. We then talked to Ed (Landfill Supervisor for Town) about moving the
brush and he agreed to get this done.
5. Status of Soil Test Results
Tim Howell has finished a compilation of all soil test results and will be sending it to
D&B under cover letter with a copy to Jim Mulligan. Jim will then send a copy of these results
to Tectonic Engineering.
6. Status of Further Regrading Area of Shroder Prope
Final regrading in this area will be performed after the barrier protection layer is
completed on the landfill that recently has been lined as per Bob Terry.
7. Schedule to Manufacture Topsoil
Bob Terry said they are continually making the vegetative cover mix. Tectonic's
laboratory reported an organic content of 11.1% on the 3:2:1 (compost:topsoil:sand) mix that
was split sampled last week by D&B and Terry. Terry's laboratory results are not in as yet. It
was agreed that one more split sample of the unscreened mix would be taken by the two parties
since there may be variation in the mix. It also was agreed that the remaining samples (one
sample per 1,000 cy of vegetative cover mix) would be taken only after the mix is screened, but
before placement on the landfill.
8. Daily Schedule of Work for Next 2.Weeks
Bob Terry said they will have this ready by this afternoon and will forward to Tom
Maher and Jim Mulligan.

9. Schedule of Construction of Permanent Road
Bob Terry reported that the barrier protection layer will be completed today and will,
therefore, be ready for compaction testing by Tectonic. Since Terry is proposing to use RCA for
the road subbase, Tom Maher said he will have his office look into the laboratory tests required
on the RCA versus the laboratory tests required in the contract specifications for crushed stone
subbase. Should the testing move forward quickly, work on the permanent road probably would
begin next week, since this Thursday and Friday are non work days.
10. Status of Installation of Gas Monitoring Wells Along Southwestern Boundary
Bob Terry reported that Cassola Well Drilling will be on-site today to install the four
monitoring wells.
11. Revised Chenango Cost Backup for Phased Liner Installation on West Side
Bob Terry acknowledged that this information still is due to D&B.
12. Other
Tom Maher said he still has not received the spot elevations taken by McLean along the
road to the borrow pit which he needs to finalize design of the road. Bob Terry said he will call
McLean to have them send the information to Tom.
