Bob Terry said he believes everything is up to date but will be submitting information on
the erosion control blanket and fabric and seed mix in the near future.
3. Status of Construction of 17 -Here Parcel
Bob Terry reported that the 'Town has removed all of the bm h from the center I Yz-acre
area and that he presently is removing the existing RCA pad thereon wid, by late this afternoon,
will have moved the power screener from the Borrow Pit to the 1 %2 -acre area to begin screening
sand. Bob also said that the surveyor will be on-site this corning Monday to stake the elevations
on the parcel.
4. Status of Sand Screening and 'Testing
Bob Terry estimates that an additional 2,000 cy of screened sand is needed to cover the
geocormposite still exposed on the north encs of the east half of the landfill. Since screening sand

will begin by the end of today on the 17 -acre parcel, Bob sees no problem in meeting the
deadline to cover the geocomposite.
5. Status of Soil Test LOyjts
Tim Howell !lilt is determining the validity of the three GVL laboratory test results. Jim
Mulligan is to cheok with Tim on this issue.
6. Moore's Pond Soil Disposal
Tom Maher said that Igor SWric of NYSDEC told him that the contaminated soil from
Moore's Pond will not be disposed of until December 2002 at the earliest. Since the landfill will
be fully capped before then, the soil will have to be disposed of elsewhere.

Screening of the topsoil will stop after today since the power screener will be moved to
the 17 -acre parcel to begin screening sand.
8. Daily Schedule of Mork for Next 2 Weeks
Bob Terry said he will give Jim Mulligan the schedule tomorrow.
9. Schedule for Completion of the Permanent Road
and Removal of the TempoM Road to 17 Acres
Corazz ni Paving is on-site today to install 24 -foot wide by 4 -inch base asphalt paving
with a 24 -foot wide cutoff to the main access road by the scales. The cutoff, which will be
removed once the permanent road is ready to be completed, will cost $2,750, to which Tom
Maher agreed. A 11/z -inch course of asphalt will be put on over the 4 -inch base course next
Monday or Tuesday. The 2 -foot by 2% -foot concrete blocks will then be installed on both sides
of the road and a temporary dividing line will be marked so that two-way b'affic can be

awarnmodated. Jamie Richter is to meet with Jim Bunchuck and Bob Terry this afternoon to
discuss the roadway onto the 17 -acre parcel. Bob Terry said that the temporary RCA road will
be removed vi about two weeks.
10. Status of Completion and Testing of Gas
Monitoring Wells Along Southwestern boundary
Jinn Mulligan said the four monitoring wells have not yet been tested this week. Cassola
still has to complete the sampling taps and concrete bases for each of these wells.
11. Revised Chenango 13ackuv for Phased liner Installation o� n We tide
Bob Terry said Chenango had forwarded this to him, but Bob discovered an error and
Chenango is revising the information. Bob should receive this information shortly.
12. Other
® Tom Maher reminded Bob Terry to submit a planting plan along with costs which
Bob agreed to do by the next Progress Meeting.
g Tom Maher asked whether Terry is on schedule with the project overall and Jim
Mulligan pointed out that Ter1 is ahead of schedule on installation of topsoil and the
stone and repo mattresses for the swales, but is behind on installation of the
permanent road, removal of the temporary road and underlying waste, and subsequent
grading of waste on the southern portion of the east half of the landfill.
