Minutes of Previous (August 22 2002 Meeting Bob Terry- said Ile had not read the minutes as yet. 2. Status of Submittals Bob Terry indicated that everything was up to date and D&B did not owe comments on any submittals. 3. Status of Sand Screening and Testine Sand screening continues on the 17 -acre parcel. Torn Maher said that Jim Bunchuck expTessed concern that Terry does not screen any more sand than is necessary for the landfill project. Bob Terry agreed that this would be the case. Torn Maher stated that Terry would not be paid to screen, more sand than necessary. 4., Status of Soil Test Fesults and Resolution of Three Gas Vent Layer Sam les Tim Mulligan said he will call Peter Sutherland (Tectonic Engineering) to make: sure that evcgthing is satisfactory. 0 014Ir0903201(R01) 1 00/45/2002 THIT 07:37 FAX 005/007 �. Discussion with Ed Wankel Regarding Seed Mixture, Includine Wildflower Mix Along Southern. Area of Landfill Tom Maher distributed a copy of Ed Wankel's August 26, 2002, letter to Tom in which Wankel confirms the grass mix recommended on the landfill in light of the potential golf facility. Tom asked Jinn Mulligan to check with Jim Bunchuck on where he would Iike the wildflower seed to be applied. 6. Daily Schedule of Work for Next 2 Weeks Although no written work schedule was submitted, Bob Terry described the work to be done next week, including: adding CGM to east half of landfill; completing gas migration trench on westerly property line of landfill; installating fencing on southern end of site by 17 -acres and residents; and seeding on west half of landfill. 7. Status of Construction on 17 -Acre parcel Terry is excavating and screening sand south of the eydsting 1 -acre RCA pad and has been waiting for plans from I-LNI showing drainage and road details. During the meeting, the plans from H2M arrived and were reviewed. Several questions arose regarding the drainage details and retaining wall near the road. Jim Mulligan met with Jamie Richter atter the meeting and resolved the issues. Terry can therefore move forward with the rernaluing work on the site and will submit a plan to complete the project. 8. Schedule for Completion of the Permanent Road and R moval of the Temporary Road to 17 Acres, This item is completed and can be removed from the next meeting agenda. 9. Status of Completion and Tcsting of Gas Monitorina Wells Along Southwestern Bound 'Testing thus far has shown no gas to be present in the lour gas monitoring wells. Bob Terry said he will contact Cassola Well Drilling to complete installation of the sampling ports on each of these wells. 11. Proposal for Plantings AIM Southern Boundary ,rom Maher suggested that we meet again with Jim Bunchuck on the details of what plantings Jim prefers and where they are to be located. This will be discussed at the next progress meeting. 12. Abandonment of Existing Landfill Well Terry still needs to cut about 3 feet off of the 10 -inch steel casing and cap with cement. 13. Revised Construction Schedule The revised schedule was submitted at the August 22, 2002, progress meeting. The schedule will be reviewed at each progress meeting. 14. Vinyl Coated Fence Along Boundary of Residential Area Tim Howell's letter of August 28, 2002, contained a cost proposal to install black vinyl fence along the southern property line near the residential area. Jim Bunchuck verbally responded shortly thereafter by giving approval to install the 9 -gauge fencing at an extra cost of 53,995. 0 1314/T0903201(ROI) 3 09/05/2002 THU 07:38 FAX 15 . Other IM007/007 - knob Terry is to get the cost for installing the asphalt curb along the permanent road to the compost facility. - Bob Terry will meet with Jim Bunchuck to establish the contract limit along the area south of the east half of the landfill in order to have working room for his equipment to operate and access the 17 -acre parcel from the east. - Bob Terry restated that he needs Town resolution on the issue of nietes acid bounds of the new access road Corazini is to give the Town (in exchange for the current Cox Lane access road).
