1. Comments on Minutes of Previous (November 18, 2002) Meeting
Jim Bimchuck had no continents and Bob Terry said he has not read the minutes as

1 Status of Submittals
Tim Howell distributed copies of MacMat specifications to Tom Maher arld
Jinn Mulligan under cover letter of November 26, 2002, for review and approval. Tim
Howell stated he will have a response to D&B on Monday, December 2, 2002, regarding
outstanding responses due as outlined in D&B's letter of November 18, 2002.
3. Status of Sand Screening, Topsoil Manufacture and Testix►g
Blab Terry said there is no sand screening being pmfotined at the present time grad
that topsoil manufacturing is on hold.

4. Status of Soil Test Results
Tim Howell will give Jim Mulligan the BPL test results he now has by the end of
this week. All testin; is up to date,
5. Status of installation of Replacement Water Supply Well
Jiro Bimchuck explained that the Fire District's attorney had told him that the
District must vote on the award of the contract now that bids lave been received to
construct the well. Peconic Well is the low bidder.
5. Status of Construction on 17 -acre Parcel
Work is resuming now that the Town has approved additional funding. Terry
presently is regrading the road leading down to the 17 -acre site.
7. Replacement of Sand Along the. McBride ProR=
Bob Terry ,said the sand has been replaced, but fmal grading of the perimeter road
still needs to be performed, Tim Bunchuck said the road can be a sand road with no RCA
added. Tim Rowell said he expects the road to be about 15 feet wide.
8. Status of Completion and Testing of
Gas Monitoring Wells along Southwest Boundary
Testing was not done this week w yet. Tom Maher will have D&B's portable
/.monitor brought to the site, since Terry's monitor is no longer at the landfill and is being
used on the East Hampton project.

9. Status of Installation of Vinyl Coated Fence

Bob '.ferry said this Nvorl- will be perfOrrrled next week.
14. Status of New Access Road to Cox Lane
Jim Bunchuck said that remediation of contamination noted ora the proposed access
road is not likely to be required_ The Transfer of property still is in the hands of the
attorneys.

11.2. Iter air of Erosion Daina e� Along Swales to Recharge Basin No.
Bob Terre said no repairs have been performed. With regard to the construction of
Recharge Basin No. 3, Bob noted he is waiting for D&B's redesigu of the headwall. Fina.
Howell mentioned he had discussed the redesign with Frank DeVita, but had .not receiv€.d a
formal submittal. Jim. Bunchuck said his mere will attempt to scrape the floor in the Boarow
Pit area to provide better drainage.
13. NYSDEC Monitoring Well &proval
Tim Howell is to ,provide D&13 with information regarding the deep water
monitoring well construction method which apparently has been agreed upon. betv'reen
NYSDEC and Casola Well Diillers. NYSDEC wishes to inspect the deep monitoring wells
wlaexl constructed. Tim will notify DEC when the deep wells will be installed..

The composite sample showed a level of ars-.nic above NYSDEC guidelines
according to Tom Daher. Tom instT(wWd Jim Mulligan to collect four grab samples from
the Town HighwWs stookpile cf topsoil and have the samples analyzed for arsenic.

Carola. "Well Drillers are to start drilling the additional 11 gas motAtorin!g wells on
Nknday, December 2, 2002. The 6 groundwater monitoring wells will be constructed
thereafter and will take approximately two weeks to complete.
16. Status ofItems to be Completed for Substatatial Cgmpk ion
- Pavin — Tirn Howell expects paving to be completed by end of nexT week.
- Concrete Blocks --- It was agreed that 8 feet long flat concrete Hocks would ba
spaced along the sot'thwestern road with a 6 foot gap bctween each block. The
blocks now on-site (with nubs) would bre used to construct the retaining; wall by-
the
ythe road leading down to the 17 -acre parcel and also placed along the road to the
Borrow pat,
- Plantin.gs --lob T eTTy said he will put in the plants along the southwest property
line by the residents next week. Tim Howell will provide a cost to .litn.
Bunchuck on Leyland Cypress trees and the Town will then decide on whether
these and/or red cedars acid white pines are to be planted in this area.
- Jim $unchuck asked if wood chips could be used on the approximately 12 acres
of landfill currently exposed with BPL to control dust. If two inches of wood
chips were placed, approximately 5,000 cy of chips would be needed. Jim
Mulligttn is to check. with Cornell Cooperative Fxtension to see if the wood
chips would pose a problem when the topsoil and seed are to be put down. in the
spring of 2003.
