Comment's on Minutes of Previous LPeceniber 13.2002 Nleetin Bob Terry said he has not reviewed these minutes nor has lie provided any cor meats on the minutes of the previous two meetings. 2. Status of Submittals and Response to Novernber 118, 2002, Letter Tial Howell provided Tom Maher with their response to D&IQ's November 18, 2002, letter. 3. BILL Test Results Tim Howell provided all BPL laboratory test results to D&B. Jim Mulligan -was given a set at the meeting for his review. 4. Status of Installation of-eplacerrient Water Sunnly Well Jim Bunchuck said he has not heard furth-.r as to when the well will be constructed by die, Fire District's contractor, Peconic Well. Status of Construction on 17 -acre Parcel Jim Bunchuck and Bob Turfy recently had a meeting acid agreed on how to move construction of the Compost Facility more expeditiously. Recent work includes extension of the RCA pad further south and movement of the leaves from the yet imexcavated northern section to the southern. end. Bob Terry said he then will start screening sand on the northern section to be excavated. Also, the concrete block retaining wall on the east .side of the paved road leading down to the 17 -acre parcel is nearly complete as of today. 6. Replacement of Sand Along the McBride Property and t4radin of Borrow Pit Perimeter Road and Cut Areas Bob Terry agreed to grade the perimeter road by the end of next week, There was no agreement to grade the cut areas. 7. Status of Completion and Testing of Gras Monitoring Fells along Southwest Boundary The four gas wells were tested yesterday by Jim Mulligan and there was no deteotion. S. Status of Installation of Vinyl Coated Fence Along Boundary of Residential Area and Route 48 This fencing may be finished by today according to Bob Terry. Bob said the 12 - foot fence may be installed in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Status of New Access Road to Cox Larko The Town is waiting for a determination of the saAnple results by the Suffolk County Department of Health Services regarding need fer remediation, if any, before proceeding with the land swap. 10. Schedule for Completion of All Remaining Work Bob Terry said he plains to concentrate on working on the 17 -acre parcel over the winter and do some fence work on the landfill project during this period. Most of the remaining work would be done starting in the spring of 2003. 16. Comments on November 20- 2002, Selections/Additions Summary Tim Howell said he thinks there will be an additional $120,000 cost for the amount of liner and subsequent soil materials. 17. Costs for Additional Surveys Bob Terry said that McLean is working on this. 18. Protection of Erosion Control Blanket Bob Terry said this will he done by next week. 19. R'.eolacement of Concrete Blocks Along Road to 17 -Acre Parcel Tim Howell said Suffolk Concrete has about two days of delivery for all of the blocks and that additional RCA would be needed on the south side of the road in order to correctly set the blocks. 20. Easement Termination Jim Mulligarl and Tire Nowell believe that the easements most likely earl be terminated by the end of Jan= -y 2003, Bob Terry said that Shrroder's easement might be needed beyond that time. 22. Retaining Wall Along McBride Proms. McBride has complained to the Town Supervisor's office about flooding on his property near the landfill. John Rom anelli asked Jim Bunchuck to arrange a meeting; with McBride to review the situation. Torn Maher recommends that the wall be installed in order to safeguard the road and maintain its 25 -foot width. At Bob Terry's suggestion, discussion will bc: held between the Town and. McBride to set if an arrange-lnent can be agreed to that will sallow the ,slope of the maintenance road to encroach on to McBride's property, which would eliminate the gleed for the retaining wall. John indicated that a permanent easement would be required. 23. Scrapirlg�of Borrow Pit Most of this work has been completed and Jin/ Mulligan estimated that 1,000 cy of topsoil is now stockpiled in the Borrow Pit. ?4. Qthag Jinn Bunchuck expressed his concern and disappointment that the leavles in the degradable bags in the Borrow Pit were mixed and the bags darnaged, thus interfering with the Town's pilot test to evaluate the bags. Jim had are understanding with Tim. Dowell that this would not occur.
