Minutes of Previous fMarch 1, 2002) Meeting Bob Terry said he would submit any conux =ts he has at next week's meeting. 2. Statin of Aerial P oto rah and Surveying by McLean Tom Maher stated that he expects to receive the topographic survey from Geornaps tomorrow or Monday. Toni also said Frank DeVita of D&B has been working on the grading plan, but he told him to stop until the survey is received. Tom continued to say that he may only have to raise the elevations approximately 2 feet on the flat areas and slopes, therefore increasing the slopes of the swales as a result. Tone then stated that he elves not want any more wood chips added to the top of the east side; because of potential compaction difficulties if the surface is too soft_ Jim Bunchuek agreed to move all the remaining wood chips to the Borrow Fit. 3. N'onpotable Well — Redesign Construction Cost Estimate and Submittal of Permit Application Tom Maher asked Bob Terry the status of the construction cost estimate. Bob replied that C:asolla Well Drilling is handling it and that it will take 3 to 4 woks. Bob added that the well can be constructed before the permit arrives; however, pumping of the well czumot. Tom asked Igor Sikiric if he can assist in moving along the pemnitting process. Igor said he will try. Bob said he believes the Health Department also is involved with the permitting process. Torn asked Bob to look into it. Bob said he would do so. Tom stated that tie would like the work to begin as soon as possible. 4. West Half of landfill — Status and Flan for Completion Town Maher asked Bob Terry the status of the west half of the landfill. Bob said he will begin covering the liner at the conclusion of the meeting. Tom asked if the work would be completed today. Bob replied that it should be. Tom asked about the survey of the southwest drainage system. Bob said McLean checked the grades and that it looks good. However, they are not going to provide an as -built until the stilling basin is installed. Tom asked if the cast side property line was staked. Bob replied that McLean has performed the required preparatory work for the task, but the area needs to be cleared before it can be staked. Tom asked if the stilling basin will be installed next week and, once it is, what is Terry's plan. Bob responded that the permanent road was staked yesterday and that work on the road will begin next week. Tom asked if that work will include excavating the waste from under the temporary road. Bob answered no, and that the temporary road work will not begin for at least three weeks, as the entire south end must be completed first. Toni said the east side cannot be completed until the temporary road waste is removed and Asked Bob to attempt to move up his schedule. Bob asked where the waste should be placed. Tom said it should be placed on the mounds on the cast side. Tom asked what else needs to be done on the west side. Bob listed the following tasks which need to be completed: siren relocation; abandonment of the existing nonpotable supply well; completion of the swales on the south end; anchor trench construction; and installation of the gas monitoring wells, Tim Howell asked Tom if he had received the well abandonment submittal with Igor Sikirzc's letter. Jim said he had not yet asked thew, but that he would do so. 7. Status of Sand Screening and Testing - Need and Schedule for Screened 17 -.Acre Material for Gas Venting Layer and Barrier Protection Layer to Complete Western Portion of Landfill/Cap - Schedule for Completing Barder Protection Layer Over Oeomembrane Tom Maher asked Bob Terry if he had informed Jim Buncbuck of his need to begin screening sand. Bob answered yes. 8. Soil Test Results Chris Morris said all testing is tip to. date, 9. Other Bob Terry stated that the Town has stopped placing C&D on the landfill as of this morning. Tom Maher asked if the C&D stockpile on the landfill has been turned over and thoroughly reduced.
