week, Bob Terry stated that loam from the 17 -acre parcel is to be trucked to the borrow pit area,
final grading is to be performed on the west half of the landfill and placement of 6 -inch final

continue.

4. Recharge Basin No. 4 - Drainage Redesign
Tom Maher said that Tectonic has prepared a report containing the conceptual design for
routing storm water from the area where Recharge Basin No. 4 was to have been constructed to
proposed Recharge Basin No. 3. The pipe size, layout and cost is included in the report which
Tom will send to NYSDEC for their approval. D&B will prepare the formal design revisions
starting Monday, October 15, 2001.
5. Permanent Road to 17 -Acre Parcel
Tom Maher said the design is nearly completed and he will be sending the plans to Bob
Terry and NYSDEC shortly.
6 Golf Driving Range
- . Tom Maher said he will be sending NYSDEC the conceptual design Bob Terry has
provided in a few days. Bob Terry said he will provide Tom manufacturer's information on the
equipment to be used on the range, i.e., grass mower, golf ball collector as backup information to
be sent with plans to NYSDEC.

9. MBE/WBE and EEO Plan Status
Bob Terry still needs to reach Ken Scheider of NYSDEC and resolve this issue.
10. 32° F. Liner Installation Certification
Tim Howell showed Tom Maher a letter from Chinango which Tom agreed was adequate
in its certification that the liner can be installed down to as low as 32° F. and still have the
warranty valid.
11. Certificate of BPL with up to 1 -Inch Stone
12. Other
- Tom Maher requested that two gas vents be installed on the east half of the landfill to
test for odors since the Town Board had voiced concern over this issue should the
golf driving range be constructed. Bob Terry agreed to install the two gas vents.
- Discussion took place on the regrading of side slopes in the borrow pit area with the
final outcome being that regrading would occur only in the northeast corner of the
borrow pit.
Discussion took place on the quantities of sand and loam to be excavated from the 17 -
acre parcel and placed elsewhere. Tom Maher asked Jim Bunchuck to contact H2M
for their grading plan for the 17 -acre parcel which Jim agreed to do. Tom requested
that Jim Mulligan and Tim Howell prepare a listing of material quantities since Tom
is concerned whether enough sand is available from the 17 -acre parcel to complete
the work. Tom recommended to Jim Bunchuck that the Town not sell- any sand until
the job is completed. Jim acknowledged this concern.
- It was agreed that a mixture of sand and loam be used to backfill the area under the
roadway in Waste Excavation Area 3.
