1. Minutes of Previous (November 8, 200 1) Meeting
Bob Terry said he will submit written comments on the November 8, 2001,
minutes.
2. Recharge Basin #4 — Drainage Redesign
Tom Maher said the redesign is in progress and will be completed shortly. Bob
Terry cautioned that the golf course driving range may influence the drainage redesign
and Tom Maher said he will check into this.
2. Gas Migration Control Trench — Stone and Redesign
Tom Maher indicated that NYSDEC has approved the change in trench
installation. Bob Terry said that while he can start the trench on the north end, other
locations cannot be started for various reasons, namely: on west side, the H2M grading
plan is needed; on the south side, he needs the final drainage design; on the east side,
waste has been found as per the test trenches dug recently to which Tom Maher
responded by saying that this waste must be excavated and relandfilled within the cap

limit. John Romanelli said he would talk to Corazzini about clearing the 40 foot
easement. It was agreed that Bob Terry would submit a letter to D&B for approval to
move ahead with excavating the waste from this area which is to be called "Waste
Excavation Area 4."
4. 17 -Acre Grading Plan
Tom Maher said we still have not received said plan from H2M, including the
quantities of material. John Romanelli said he will call George of H2M on this matter.
5&6. Nonpotable Well
Tom Maher said the well should be located as close to Route 48 as possible in
order to yield noncontaminated water. A line will then be run from the well to a hydrant
to be located by Jim Bunchuck and included on the survey to be made shortly of the
property lines along Route 48 and the south end of the west half of the landfill. Tom
Maher asked Bob Terry to move on well permit application for NYSDEC approval. Bob
agreed to do this.
7. MBE/WBE and EEO Work Plan
Tom Maher indicated that he will call Ken Shider of the New York State
Environmental Facilities Corporation to see about their approval of Terry's revised plan
submitted several weeks ago.
8. Subgrade on West Half of Landfill — Status and Plan for Completion
Tom Maher said the revised plans will be finalized tomorrow and sent to Terry on
Monday. Bob Terry said there is no room (for waste) left on the west half based on
recent survey.

TomMaher asked Jim Bunchuck to estimate the quantity of C&D to be received
by the Town. While Bob Terry indicated there is a large "fill" area still left on the north
end of the east half of the landfill, Tom is concerned whether this fill area is large enough
to accommodate the C&D and waste from Waste Excavation Area 3. Tom asked Jim
Mulligan to estimate the volume of the fill area. (Note: J. Mulligan and T. Howell
looked into this immediately after the meeting and estimated the "fill" volume at 4,000
cy.)
9. Golf Course Driving. Range Design
Tom Maher said this item is on hold for now except for the drainage redesign by
Recharge Basin #4. NYSDEC has approved the conceptual plan for the golf range.
Discussion then ensued on whether D&B or McLean would perform the design work.
Tom Maher said he is to decide this week whether D&B can handle the work.
10. Status of Submittals
Bob Terry said he will be responding to D&B's recent letter on this matter.
11. Vegetative Cover Mix — Agronomist Certification
Bob Terry indicated the agronomist has the necessary samples and will have his
results and recommendations by the next progress meeting.
'12. Completion of Waste Excavation Area 3
Bob Terry said they are now stripping off about 2 feet of loam from the top of the
gas venting material stockpile and will remove the waste after the gas venting material is
restockpiled elsewhere.

13. Status of Sand Screening and Testing
Bob Terry said that with the exception of certain interruptions from time to time,
he continues to screen sand. Samples obtained from the screened sand are at the
laboratory and results should be received this afternoon.
14. Test Gas Vents on East Half of Landfill
Bob Terry said he still has not received the pipe from Holbrook but will try to
speed up the delivery by calling Holbrook.
15. Re rading of Northeast Area
Bob Terry and Jim Bunchuck will meet with the adjacent property owner, Mr.
Shroeder, to work out an agreement on regrading the slope.
16. Property Line Survey
Bob Terry is to arrange for the survey with either Young and Young or McLean
for the property along Route 48 and by the homeowners on the south end of the west half
of the landfill.
17. Plan for Dust Control During Winter — Need for Submittal
Tom Maher asked Bob Terry for a written submittal which Bob said he will do.
18. Test Trench Excavation Along Eastern Boundary
See Item 3.
0 1314/T1115103(RO1) 4
19. Soil Test Results
Tim Howell has been asked by Jim Mulligan to provide all laboratory test results
for soil samples.
20. Work Schedule
Bob Terry said he hopes to begin with the installation of the liner on November
26, 2001, on the west half of the landfill and will take about two weeks to complete.
