Bob Terry said that Barry Quimet (Tectonic Engineering) is continuing with their
compaction testing. Excess contour grading material has been removed and the surveyor
(McLean) is to shoot the elevations tomorrow. Contour grading has been completed from
the siren to the north end. Bob questioned whether Barry could test fast enough, since
Bob wants to start laying the gas venting material next Monday. Tom asked Jim
Mulligan to confer with Barry on this issue. Tom asked Bob Terry to send the laboratory
results of the screened sand (for gas venting material) directly to Pete Sutherland.

21. Work Schedule
The goal is to complete the contour grading compaction, lay the gas venting
material and compact same, and begin installing the liner on the west half of the landfill.
Bob Terry indicated he has the drainage pipe for the drainage system in the southwest
quadrant and can begin that work. Because of the temporary and permanent road in the
south, the liner may initially be installed only as far south as the siren according to Bob
Terry with Chenango having to then be remobilized to install the remaining liner after the
road work is completed.
