1. Minutes of Previous (December 13, 2001) Meeting
Bob Terry said he has not finished reviewing the minutes and would submit any
comments he has to Tom Maher.
2. Recharge Basin #4 — Drainage Redesign
Tom Maher provided Bob Terry with the drawings and copy of the plans on disk. Bob
said he would review the plans. Tom Maher stated his concern with the depths of the cuts
needed and the subsequent costs to the town. Tom also said that if the slope in the area of the
Schroder property is reduced, the depths of the cuts in the area would also be lessened. Bob is to
submit a cost estimate for the work.

3. Nonpotable Well Relocation Plan
Jim Bunchuck said he has spoken with the Fire Chief and is still working out the details.
Tom Maher asked Jim Bunchuck to submit the plan directly to Bob Burns of D&B. Jim said he
would do so.
4. Nonpotable Well - Permitting and method of Construction
Tom Maher said the original specifications call for an 8" well, but the Fire Department
has asked for a 10" well. Tom also said that he would like the well to have a 5' sump at the
bottom of the well and that the existing specifications need to be revised.
5. West Half of Landfill - Status and Plan for Completion
; Tom Maher asked Bob Terry his plans for completion of the west half. Bob Terry
responded that he is hoping to begin covering the liner with barrier protection layer tomorrow.
Tom asked if only low pressure equipment would be used to spread the barrier protection layer.
Bob said yes and that he would like D&B to monitor the work closely to verify that no
equipment contacts the liner improperly. Bob added that Chenango is planning to return next
week, but if they do not, he will only have a partial crew working to cover the liner. Tom asked
how far south Chenango is planning to deploy liner. Bob said to approximately 50' north of the
temporary road. Bob also said that he would like to install the stilling basin on the south end and
complete the drainage system in the southwestern area as soon as possible in order to bring
Chenango back to finish. Jim Bunchuck asked if there will be any additional costs to bring
Chenango back. Bob responded that there would be no additional costs to remobilize. Tom
asked Bob when the southern end would be completed. Bob said approximately a month,
depending on the weather. Bob stated the permanent road in the area must be complete before
the temporary road is removed. Tom asked how the liner is being terminated without the anchor
trenches being completed. Bob replied that the lined areas are ending on downhill slopes. Bob
stated there could be a possible problem with the anchor trenches being undermined on the west

side when the gas migration trench is dug in the area. Tom said the anchor trenches will have to
be reconstructed where they were damaged.
6. Golf Driving Range Design
Tom Maher said the plans are on hold until they are presented to the Town Board after
January 1.
7. Status of Submittals
Tom Maher asked if there are any outstanding submittals which could cause work delays.
Tim Howell said that he does not believe there are any, but that he would look into it.
8. Vegetative Cover Mix - Agronomist Certification
Tim Howell stated that he does not yet have the agronomist's report, but that he expects it
soon.
9. Status of Sand Screening and Testing -
Sufficient Store for Gas Migration Control Trenches
Bob Terry said that he is screening sand full time and that approximately 20,000 cubic
yards have been produced to this point. Tim Howell added that all testing is up to date.
10. Test Gas Vents on Eastern Portion of Landfill
Bob Terry stated the test vents have been installed. Tom Maher asked about the odor
coming from the two vents. Chris Morris responded that the odors from the wells do not seem to
be very strong. Tom asked if Bob could test the vents for methane. Bob said he has a methane
meter that he would provide it to Chris to perform the testing.

which should be within the next two weeks. Bob added that he needs to determine whether or
not the stockpiled geocomposite needs to be moved.

Bob Terry said all field and change orders have been signed by Jim Bunchuck.
18. Other
Tom Maher stated his belief that a change order to the 17 -acre contract for sand screening
is needed. Tom added that the sand is being used for the landfill; however, without the landfill,
the sand would have to be removed at a greater expense. Bob Terry and Jim Bunchuck agreed
with Tom that the billing of the sand screening needs to be addressed.
