Tim Howell stated that Bob Terry has not finished his cost estimate for the work.

Tom Maher said .he would like to have the estimate by the next meeting. Tim responded
that he would relay the message to Bob.

Tom Maher asked Jing Bunchuck if it was the Fire Chief with whom he has been
working.' Jim replied that it was Brian Schickler of Peconic' WGII & Pump, not the Fire
Chief. Tom said he would check the status of the plan with Bob Burns of D&B and have
Bob call Brian.

Wast Hall of Landfill -- Status and Flan or zxtpletion
Tom Maher asked Tirn Howell for a status report on the west half of the landfill.
Tim said that gas venting layer sand was being placed on the southwest corner of the west
half and that they will try to get the area surveyed as soon as possible. Tom asked when
the under drains in the swales will be installed. Tim responded that they are hoping to
install the tinder drains along with the instaliation of the barrier protection layer. Tim
also acknowledged that he need:; to prepare a submittal for the pipe to be used for the
drain. Toni stated that it is D&B's intention to have someone on-site for compaction
testing only when a significant area has been prepared and that 43 hours' notice will be
required. Tom asked what Terry plans to do next. Tim said they plan to work on the
drainage system along the southwestern boundary of the landfill next. Toni also
requested a work schedule through winter. Tirn replied that a schedule would be difficult
to produce, but said lie would attempt to do so.

Tom Nfaber said the plans still are ,iwaiting review by the Town Board. Tom also
said that he is meeting with an independent driving range consultant to review McLean's
plans and prepare an economic feasibility evaluation.
7, status P� Submittals
Tom Maher reiterated his need for the under dein pipe submittal. Tom also said
there were ntmierous problems with the geocomposite submittals and that it is his fettling
Terry deeds to review the vendor submittals carefully to avoid possible delays. 'T'om
Howell stated he would make an effort to do so.

8. " Vegetative Cover Nh -- Age nomisi C'ertifIcation
Tina Howell said he has received the agronomist's certification, but he needs to
discuss several issues. The agronomist's recommendation calls for six parts compost to
one part topsoil, in which case more compost would be needed and not all of the topsoil
would be used. Toni Mahar said that he would like to have ,an independent study of the
material perrormed. Jim 13michucic stated that he may be able to assist in this regard and
would look into it- 'Porn said he would like to have combinations of all the materials
(topsoil, compost, loam and sand) tested and -was interested to know if there are ways to
boost the organic content of the compost if needed.
9. Status of Sand Screening quid Testing -

Tom Maher said a decision needs to be niade about what to do with the stone
being produced. Jim Bunchuck responded that a decision will be made shortly. Tim
Howell said approximately 23,000 cubic yards of sand has been screened to this point.
Jim asked if screening operations should temporarily cease until a decision is reached.
Tom said a shutdown wculd.cause a delay to the landfill closure operations. Jim agreed
and said screening should continue as is until the decision ,is made by the Town. Jing also
said that he discussed the issue with Bob Terry and that Bob said lie could continue
screening for $3.65 per cubic yard if he keeps the gravel and $5.78 per cubic yard if the
Town keeps the gravel. Tom calculated that 100,000 cubic yards still needs to be
removed from the 17-nere parcel according to the H2141 plan (80,000 ey of screened
sand), but that this volume is less than what is needed for closure and stockpiled sand
('rom the Borrow Pit will be required.

10. - Test Gas Vents on Easte i Poxtion of LaWfill
Tom Maher asked if the vents .have been tested for methane. - Ch1.is Morris replied
that he would obtain the meter from Terry and test the vents in the near future.
11. Regrading of Northeast Area to 3:1 Slope/
Replacement of Crap Material to Meet friction A=le Requirements
Jim Bunchuck said there still have not been any discussions with Schroder, but
that he would like to meet with him next Wednesday. Jim requested someone fron.Y Terry
attend to help determine how much material can be cut from the area.
12. Plan for Dust Control Duriri,,j Witter - Need for Submittal
'Porn Maher said he is Nvaiting for a letter from Bob Terry. Torn also requested
that a plan be in place to address any possible issues that xray occur.
13. Waste Excavation Along Eastern Boundary and
Removal ofMaterial in Easement Area, on Corrazini Property
Tim Howell stated that waste excavation in the area was complete and the area
has been backfilled. Tom Maher asked hour much waste was excavated_ Chris. Moms
replied that 17 truckloads (29 cy/truck) were removed.
