Through code enforcement, meeting with family imminently homeless seeking emergency housing assistance.  Meeting with realtor regarding potential site for affordable housing.  Facilitated and participated in volunteer day for HAC at Habitat site in Orient.  With Heather Lanza and Mark Terry discussion with architect, Bruce Kinlin who will proceed with development of affordable apartments in Fishers Island.  Amended Housing Registry. Youth Bureau  Facilitated Youth Bureau Board meeting and disseminated minutes.  Meeting with Youth Advisory Council (YAC) members.  Submitted Family Service League contract for Suffolk County Youth Bureau.  Coordinated Family Service League training for crisis intervention and debriefing.  Facilitated Bike Swap, 24 bicycles were donated of which 10 were swapped and 13 donated to CAST.  Conference call with SC Youth Bureau regarding statistical reporting.  Attended Association of NY Youth Bureaus Long Island chapter meeting in Southampton.  Submitted work order for employment slots for SC Summer Works program. Through schools, solicited participation of income-eligible students and began interviewing student applicants.  Attended meeting of East End Partnership for Youth—discussion of Community Asset Mapping project. Comprehensive Plan:  Review of Economic Development chapter in preparation of Economic Development Committee meeting—setting goals and objectives 2015. Economic Development:  Facilitated Economic Development Committee meeting (agenda preparation) and disseminated minutes.  Began development of workshop on growing businesses with local food sources.  Coordinated meeting in New London for submission of grant funding for SC Downtown Revitalization for renovations and improvements to the Fishers Island Theatre.  Meeting with Town Board to authorize submission of grant to SC Downtown Revitalization program.  With Supervisor, attended seasonal “opening” of North Fork Promotion Council tourism booth in Laurel.  Meeting with Mark Terry and Michael Collins regarding Suffolk County Downtown Revitalization grant. Developed draft for letters of support. Discussion with Peconic Landing arts curator Dominic Antignano regarding support for FI Theatre project.  Developed email distribution list for notification of events for EDC (114 contacts.) Community Development:  Follow-up with Bruce Kinlin re Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2014 funding.  Meeting with Jeff Standish and Nancy Foote to review status of pending CDBG projects for Town (Peconic Lane/Recreation Center connectivity, portable ramps for Human Resource Center and installation of showers for Peconic Lane Community Center.) . Executive Safety:  Discussion with Workmen’s Compensation provider, Wright Insurance for th scheduling site visit of Town facilities for June 16.  Discussion with Vincent Orlando, Jeff Standish and Nancy Foote regarding response to Gladfelter Public Practice site visit of Town facilities to assess potential liabilities of the public in Town facilities. Other:  Submitted article of “News from Southold Town” for Fishers Island Fog Horn.  Facilitated Supervisor attendance on WLNG radio.  Scheduled and attended hamlet community meetings for residents of Mattituck/Laurel, Southold/Peconic, Cutchogue/New Suffolk and East Marion/Orient and Greenport. Compiled report of comments and recommendations.  With Supervisor, attended SC Supervisors’ Association meeting. Discussion of shared services and joint-purchasing.  Additional meeting with potential student intern, Erin Creedon.  Developed Community Notices advertisement for the Suffolk Times.
