SCTM#1000-77-1-6 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on'the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records' available to me, it is my recommendation that the .proposed actions are CONSISTENT with the LWRP policies and therefore CONSISTENT with the LWRP. The . determination is based on the following: 1. The Board of Trustees issued a Wetlands Permit (5692) in 2003 that required the installation of a 15' wide non -turf buffer. A sand buffer is in place. 2. The structure is currently located within FEMA flood zone AE EI 7. The action would make the structure compliant with. FEMA regulations. 3. The action will require compliance with Chapter 236 Stormwater Management. Note that two concrete troughs that were installed in the past to carry storm water to Goose Creek are still in place. Although that the troughs are not actively discharging stormwater into Goose Creek, it is recommended that the Board addresses (prohibits) the future use of the troughs.
