Box 1179 Southold, New York 11971 Re: 450 Oak Street, Mattituck Deck and Screen Enclosed Patio Dear Mr. Fish: 631-298-1986 Fax 631-298-2651 NOV 17 i I inspected the deck and screen patio at 450 Oak Street, Mattituck. Inspection of the deck found it to be level and structurally rigid, and the decking was found to be weathered but otherwise in acceptable condition. The deck is very close to grade and the underlying structural members were not visible for inspection. Inspection of the roof over the screen -enclosed patio found the roof framing and support posts to be structurally sound and in acceptable condition. It is my understanding that the deck and enclosure of the patio were constructed during the 1970s. Based on my observations it is my professional opinion that the deck and patio screen enclosure are structurally sound and to the best of my knowledge, were constructed in accordance with the Building Code in effect at the time of construction.
