Box 1179 Southold, NY 11971 Re: Permit #38444 - 1475 Peconic Bay Blvd., Laurel To Whom It May Concern After the separate handrail was installed onto the existing rail that was built along with the deck, we were informed that the only item left open was a floor system drawing that the Town needed in order to provide a C of O. Why you would ask for the specs for a floor system after the structure was built is beyond me — but then again this is not what I do for a living. The date indicated on my neon orange Building Permit sign is October 24, 2013. The last inspection note that was taped to my back window is dated June 19, 2014. I have made dozens and dozens of calls to the owner of Queens Screens asking that the information you are requesting be sent over. I've called your office on dozens and dozens of occasions with the hope that the information you have been requesting from Queens Screens and/or their engineer has been received. I am enclosing a letter sent to me by Queens Screens from Craig Joss, P.L. which I received in the mail this week. I am unsure if this is what you have been requesting. My office phone number appears above. I ask that you call me with the hope of resolving this issue as quickly as possible. To say my patience has gone missing, is an understatement. If I billed out the amount of time I've spent on phone calls and follow-up, I could have built a screen room on both sides of my house.
