inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
i. Final su~zey of property with accurate location of al! buildings, property lines,
streets, amd unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final Approval from ~ alth Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrica i~stailation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
A. Sworn statement from ~um'oer certifying that the solder used in system contains
less than 2/10 of i% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
Submit Planning Board Approval of cSmpletad site plan requirements.
For existing buildings (prior to Aeril 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
~pre-ex~stzng land uses:
i. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect si=~ned by the apolicant.
If a Certificate of Occupancy is denied, the Building Inspector shall sta~ the
reasons therefor in ~-riting to the applicant.

1. I am one of the surviving children of George C.
Baker, the record owner of the subject premises located at 150
Knoll Circle, East Marion, New York, Suffolk County Tax Map ~
1000-037.00-05.00-018.000.
2. I have been familiar with the house and deck since
they were constructed and I can categorically state that both were
completed prior to April 25, 1957.
3. I make this statement knowing that the Building
Department of the Town of Southold will rely on it in order to
issue a certificate for pre-existing use including both the house
and the deck.

BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD .
Dear Mr. Burns:
The bulkhead at the above referenced property was built in the
late 50's. The Board of Trustees did not require permits for
such structures until June 29, 1971.
Therefore, the bulkhead did not need a permit and was built
legally.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to
contact this office.
