The following action was taken by the Board of Southold
Town Trustees au a regular meeting held December 3, 1980.
RESOLVED to recommend to the Southold Town Board approval
of the wetland application of Norman C. Boos to dredge and
bulkhead west side of existing marina.
It was discussed and Mr. Boos understands that there is
no work to be done on the south side and this work will only
go to where it turns at the retaining wall on the end.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PERMIT
A. This application is to be completely filled in by typewri'ter or ink and submitted to the Town
Clerk in quadruplicate, accompanied by writter~ permission from the owner of the property Jf not
the same as the applicant.
B. Pilot Plan must be drawn to scale on the reverse side of this application showing the location
of property, the names and locations of owners of adjoining properties, and a detailed description
of proposed project. (Note: Copies of the Pilot Plan may be made by a copy machine and attached
to the Permit Applica.tion.)
C. No operation shall be initiated by the applicant until all permits that are required are issued.
D. A detailed statement of the rehabilitation and proposed condition of the premises after the
work is completed must be given, including a survey if required.
E. If permit is being sought for a more sizeable excavation than the construction of a private
single dock or jetty, then this application must be accompanied by a survey and topographical map
certified by a registered land survey or Professional Engineer. -Fha horizontal control of survey
shatt be based upon an approval Ioca~l coordinate system. The vertical control for elevation and sound-
ings shall be based upon United States Coast and Geodetic Survey and/or United States Geological
Survey daCum.
F. A statement must accompany the application describing any known prior operations conducted
on the premises in question and whether any prior licenses or permits hove been issued to erect
structures or to dredge or deposit fill on said premises and whether a,ny such permits or licenses
were ever revoked or suspended by a governmental agency.
G. A filing fee of $25.00 shall accompany the application. This filing fee includes one inspection,
there is a $5.00 fee for each additional inspection.
H. The Town Board upon request,.~f~.t_=.h~/applicant fo, r o perm,it, may waive in whole or in part,
the provisions of Ar?icle II, Sect~.on7-~, subd,v,s~ons (~ and ~vhere it finds that nature of the
proposed operations are such that ~e requirements of such provisions are not necessary for a
