Tax Roll: David Owen Averette and wife Occupied - owner Upon request of the Southold T~n Building Department, I made inspection of this one story framed dwelling and found the following violations of Local Law #1, Housing Code, Town of Southold. I was admitted to house by the Averette~ boy who accompanied me on inspection which began at approximately 2:05 p.m. Kitchen: Rear entrance, no light switch or means of controlling light in room on entry - Section 529b. Living Room: Front entrance, no light switch or means of controlling light in room on entry - Section 529b. Finished Attic: Being used as sleeping quarters for three sons; contains four beds, violating the Building and Zoning Ordinance, Town of Southold, Article I, Section 101 "Floor Area Livable" (7'1' headroom). Cellar: Stairs - no hand rails, open sides - Section 216b. No plate on light switch, top of stairs. Six open junction boxes in various locations. Three wall outlets, no plates, one wall light switch, no plate Section 528a. One gang box outlet wired with B.X. wire, requires mounting Section 528b. Accessory Building: Two and one half car garage - one outlet, no plate, one light switch, no plate - Section 528. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage dispcsal--(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4. Commercial buildings, Industrial buildings, Multiple Residences and similar buildings and installations, a certificate of Code compliance from the Architect or Engineer responsible for the building. 5. Submit Planning Board approval of completed site plan requirements where applicable. B. For existing buildings (prior to April 1957), Non-conforming uses, or buildings and "pre-existing" land uses: 1. Accurate survey aT property showing all property lines, streets, buildings and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Sworn statement of owner or previous owner as to use, occupancy and condition of buildings. 3. Date of any housing code or safety inspection of buildings or premises, or other pertinent in- formation required to prepare a certificate. C. Fees: 1. Certificate of occupancy $5.00 2.
