Hi, Vicki! Thanks for checking in. Our event manager, Lisa Furst (cc'ed here), is gathering the Health Dept. Permit
numbers from the restaurants participating in HARVEST, listed below, and is on track to provide that info by your August
12th deadline. Just to reiterate, the restaurants won't be selling anything at HARVEST (each will be providing tastes of a
local, seasonal dish), so aren't technically "vendors" as it relates to our event. Hope this helps!

THE WINE FOOD CLASSIC
About Harvest East End
HARVEST EAST END was established in 2010 to celebrate and promote the Long Island wine region and
its world-class Long Island wines while raising much-needed funds for regional charities that support the
land, environment and people.
The 2013 HARVEST EAST END event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, at
the McCall Vineyard & Ranch on the bucolic North Fork of Long Island. The evening festivities will take
place under an elegant tent, where guests will sample some of the best wines that Long Island has to
offer, along with tasty bites from restaurants on the East End.
Organized by the Long Island Wine Council with support from Merliance this gracious charity fundraiser
celebrates Long Island Wine Country and benefits important regional charities—East End Hospice, Group
for the East End, the Peconic Land Trust and, new for 2013, the Long Island Farm Bureau Promotion &
Education Foundation. Since its inception in 2010, HARVEST has raised more than $137,000 for its
charity beneficiaries.

Hi,
This is preserved land; however, it is subject to a County, not Town easement. Since it is not subject to a Town
easement, I am not making comments.
The County has approved the use.

RE: McCall Winery
It's outside the site plan area for the winery, so no issues from Planning in that regard. They appear to have everything in
order to accommodate the maximum # of people they expect. The traffic is a little concerning on New Suffolk Avenue,
however I see they hired a professional security company to assist with parking so they should be able to keep things safe
on the road.
The traffic situation from this event should be monitored to ensure New Suffolk Avenue is kept open and safe and their
performance this year should be evaluated so that if they come back next year, any issues that came up this year can be
addressed.

Hi Vicki,
•
Sorry for the delay in this response, I have no objections to this event being held as described on the application. The
plans for parking appear to be addressed properly and the entrance/exit to this field off of New Suffolk Avenue will
certainly create less of an impact on traffic being on a secondary road.
