Located: 6213 Oregon Road, Cutchogue. SCTM# 82-2-3.1 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed actions are CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore are CONSISTENT with the LWRP. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. The plan calls for placement of renourishment material on the bluff face, which is to be stabilized by structural terracing for the purpose of increasing the probabilities of a more efficient and successful establishment of the renourishment and native plantings proposed to revegetate the bluff face. The plan calls for placement of renourishment material on the bluff face, which is to be stabilized by structural terracing for the purpose of increasing the probabilities of a more efficient and successful establishment of the renourishment and native plantings proposed to revegetate the bluff face. Thus, consistent with Policy 4. 1, the purpose and anticipated impacts of the project are the protection and restoration of the site's natural protective feature, specifically the vegetative restoration, enhancement, and stabilization of the bluff using a practical vegetative approach without alteration or interference with the natural condition of the shoreline.
