MILAZZO REVOCABLE TRUST SCTM# 1000-57-2-20 Joshua Horton on behalf of ROSE L. MILAZZO REVOCABLE TRUST requests an Administrative Amendment to Wetland Permit#7054 to raise the height of the proposed 53' long bulkhead and 4' northerly return by 18"; and substitute the vinyl sheathing with longer 10' vinyl sheathing. Located: 1165 Island View Lane, Greenport. SCTM#57-2-20 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed actions are CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore are CONSISTENT with the LWRP provided that: 1. The 10' wide non-turf buffer is still required as approved in the 2010 Wetlands Permit 7054. Itis recommended that the buffer is vegetated with native plant species and encompass existing plants where possible. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. MILAZZO REVOCABLE TRUST requests a Wetland Permit to construct approx. 52 linear ft.of vinyl bulkhead in place of existing timber bulkhead and backfill with approx. 5 cy.of clean sand to be planted with Spartina patens (18" on center) to re-establish approx. 189 sq.ft. of high marsh; and construct approx. 36 linear ft. of low-sill vinyl bulkhead between two bulkheads and backfill with approx. 5 cy. of clean sand to be planted with Spartina alterniflora (12" on center) to create approx. 137 sq.ft. of inter-tidal marsh.
