Located: 1060 Willow Terrace Lane, Orient. SCTM#26-2-22 It is my recommendation that the proposed action is INCONSISTENT with LWRP Policy 6.3(below)and therefore, INCONSISTENT with the LWRP. 6.3 Protect and restore tidal and freshwater wetlands. A. Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements of the Southold Town Board of Trustees laws and regulations for all Andros Patent and other lands under their jurisdiction 1. Comply with Trustee regulations and recommendations as set forth in Trustee permit conditions. The bulkhead structure described was not constructed pursuant Board of Trustee review or a Chapter 275 Wetland Permit. In 2004 the Board of Trustees issued a Wetlands Permit 5890 for a construction of a new residence and driveway that included the condition that a 10' non-turf buffer be installed landward of the bulkhead. It is recommended that the Board requires that the existing vegetation be retained to the greatest extent practical. Further, it is recommended that the 15' buffer proposed in this action be designed to achieve plant density to pre-construction conditions. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
