(1) 5225 square yards of asphalt surface at the Southold Town
Parking Field at Mattituck, New York, and (2) supplying and install-
ing 495 lineal feet of timber guard rail at the Southold Town
Parking Field at Mattituck, New York, and (3) supplying and install-
ing plantings as per planting plan in bid package at the Southold
Town Parking Field at Mattituck, New York. Specifications for
these projects may be obtained from the Town Clerk, Town of

Bid prices are not to include any taxes, from which the Town
of Southold is exempt.
The Town of Southold reserves the right to reject any and all

General: The test of WH -347, payroll turn. Is not mandatory. This form has been made available for the con-
venience of contractors and subcontractors required by their Federal or Federally -aided cunslruction-type cuntructs
and subcontracts lis submit weekly puyrolls. Properly filled out, this form will satisfy the requirements of Regu-
lations. Parts 3 and 5 (29 CFR. Subtitle A), as its payrolls submitted in connection with contracts subject to the
Davis Bacon and related Acts.
This form meet* need -i rnulling from the amendment of the Davis - Bacon Act to include fringe benefits provisions.
Under this amended law, the conirucfor is required to pay not hes than fringe benefits as predetermined by the
Department of Labor, in addition to payment of not less than the predetermined rain. The contractor's obligation
to pay fringe bruefits may be met either by payment of the fringes to the various plans, funds, or programs or
by making these payments to the employees as cash In lieu of fringes.
This payroll pruvides fur the contractor's showing on the face of the payroll all monies paid In the employers,
whether as basic rats or as cash in lieu of fringes and provides for the contractor's representation in the state-
