McMahon i I i r ' 0 • TWELVE (12) RUN ADDITION -- PREFABRICATED MODULAR KENNEL SYSTEM SWING GATES 24 square cornered swing gates (74" high x 4' wide) all framework shall be made from schedule 40, 1 1/8" O.D. full weight, 1.13 lbs. per. foot galvanized pipe in accordance with ASTMA-120-79. Swing gate shall be factory installed in frame. All the corners on the frames and doors shall be precision welded, ground, cleaned and given two zinc coatings with at least 95% pure zinc when dried. Heavy horizontal brace pipe shall be placed outside fabric for rigid support. The fabric shall be #1 gauge smooth -seal stretched tight and attached to the frame at every intersection with #13 gauge lacing wire so the fabric remains tight. OUTSIDE RUNS 14 Fence Panels- 74" high x 10' long with Isolation Panels on bottom portion. Upper portion of panel frame shall be filled with smooth seal fabric #11 gauge with a horizontal schedule 40 brace pipe between the fabric and.the isolation panel. Bottom portion of isolation panel shall be filled with Aluminum sheets of No. 16 gauge (.050), (3003-H-14) shall be fastened to the schedule 40 pipe with 3/4" wide keyhole clamps, spaced on 8" centers. The keyhole clamps shall be fastened to the 16 gauge aluminum and schedule 40 pipe with alumunum rivets. INSIDE RUNS 10 fence panels. 74" high x 4' long with isolation panels on bottom portion. UPPER PORTION of panel frame shall be filled with smooth seal fabric #11 gauge with a horizontal schedule 40 brace pipe between the fabric and the isolation panel. BOTTOM PORTION of isolation panel shall be filled with aluminum sheets of No. 16 gauge (.050), (3003-H-14) shall be fastened r 46 ! i to the schedule 40 pipe with 3/4" wide keyhole clamps, spaced on 8" centers. The keyhole clamps shall be fastened to the 16 gauge aluminum and schedule 40 pipe with aluminum rivets. SECURITY TOP COVERS 12- 41x4' Top covers 12- 4' x 10' Top covers Security top covers shall be 2" coated steel mesh and made of 1 1/8" schedule 40 full -weight galvanized pipe. Weight 1.13 lbs. per foot in accordance with ASTMA-120-79 in its entirety. KENNEL DOORS Vertical sliding door channels shall be 1/8" thick solid extruded anodized alumunum 6063-T5. Door panels shall be .100 thick aluminum sheet 3003-H-14 for the 1/8" channels. These units shall have a 12" long galvanized steel chain attached, extended by 3-4" nylon cord to necessary length, "S" hooks, pulleys, screweyes and all necessary hardware for easy installation. Openings up to 29" high by 17" wide LEGS Shall be solid cast aluminum alloy (#43) in accordance with ASTM S -5A. Each leg shall create 1z" space between equipment and floor, so that each run can be easily hosed down for sanitary purposes. The legs shall be clamped on and can be positioned to compensate for variations in floor surface. Each leg shall have two halves joined by 5/16" x 1 3/4" hot -dipped galvanized carriage bolt. PANEL AND TRIPLE CLAMPS Shall be made from solid cast aluminum alloy (#43) in accord- ance with ASTM S -5A. Each clamp shall have two halves joined by 5/16" x lZ" hot -dipped, galvanized carriage bolt. 4r V GATE UNIT HINGES Shall be made from malleable cast iron in accordance with ASTM A-47-77 Class 32510. Each clamp shall have two halves joined by 5/16" x 12" hot dipped, galvanized carriage bolt. VDTMT.'Wn DV All framework shall be made from Schedule 40, 1 1/8 O.D. full weight, 1.13 lbs. per foot galvanized pipe in accordance with ASTM A-120-79 in its entirety. Center brace pipes shall be factory installed on all panels 6' to 10' in length. And on panels longer than 10' two braces shall be installed. The schedule 40 full weight pipe shall be fully immersed in a bath of molten zinc (zinc conforming to ASTM B-6), commonly called hot -dipped galvanizing, so as both the interior and the exterior surfaces of the schedule 40 pipe will be coated with equal amounts of zinc. The zinc coating weight will conform to ASTM A-120-79, 1.8 ounces per square foot to each surface as measured by the methods of ASTM A-90. Panels to be installed pn graded floors shall be manufactured to follow the slope. Ex: if taper in floor is 42" over 12' span, slope equals 3/8" per lineal foot of panel. MESH There shall be a uniform diamond square mesh of 2" between the paralled sides after weaving #11 gauge wire into chain link fabric. All fabric ends shall be knuckled for safety. FABRIC ATTACHMENT All fabric shall be manufactured undersized by ;" to be fitted in the pipe frame. Fabric shall be stretched taut to the inside of the center line of the pipe frame under tension. Fabric shall be laced with #13 gauge wire at each intersection to the pipe frame so that the fabric remains tight. There shall be tie wires secured to all vertical braces. WELDS All corners shall be electrically percision welded under pressure. All welds shall be ground, cleaned and given two zinc rich coatings.
