install as per subject contract drawing a neatly measured
quantity of timber guard rail of not less than 493LF for the
lump sum price of ELEVEN -THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED NINETY-SEVEN
DOLLARS and NO CENTS (11,497.00). The stated quantity is arrived
at by multiplying 8 times the number of sections shown and adding
the post size (10") multiplied by 5 (number of runs) to the result.

(b) Correction of any infractions. of the aforesaid conditions, including infractions by any of his subcontractors and
any lower tier subcontractors, is his responsibility;

ineligible contractor by the Comptroller General of the United States pursuant to Section 3.6(b) of the Regulations
Of the Secretary of Labor, Part S (29 CFR. Part .i) or pursuant to Section 3(a) of the Davis-3acon Act, as

Materials to be used in the construction of above mentioned guard rails
and Posts are specially treated lumber with a life expeetantey of thirty
(30) years. As according to the specifications that are Blue Printed the
posts will be of 10" by 10" C.C.A. treated stock timbers. Said timbers will
be milled to an octagon shape starting from the top and extending down at
least twenty four (24") inches. The Ootogon shaped posts will then be
given a two (2") inch oanphor at the top.
Materials to be used for the railing will be three inch by six inch
(39 by 6") @took C.C.A. material with a life expeotantoy of thirty(SG)
years. Posts will be notched to eooept the above mentiondd rails
The posts will be firmly set to a depth of not le@s than three feet
three tnchvR below the finished grade. The eight foot long rails will
be installed between the posts setting into a three inch by six inch
square notch out into the posts. A one foot (11) long by one and one eigth
(1 1/8") locust pin will be inserted into a hole bored through the posts
and rail to secure the poste and rails toghther.

Under this amendcel law, the conoruclur is required to pay not firs than fringe benefits as predelermined by the
Department of Labor, in addition to payment Of not less than the predetermined cities. The contractor's obligation

cision. Inasmuch as it is not necessary to pay time and a half on cash paid in lieu of fringes, the overtime rate
shall he not less than the sura of the basic predetermined rate, plus the hall lime premium on basic or regular rate,
plus the required cash in lieu of (ringes at the straight time rate. In addition, lite contractor shall check paragraph
4(I0 of the slatemnl on the reverse of the payroll to indicate that he Is paying fringe benefits In cash directly to

Use of Section Ile), Exceptions
Any contractor who Is making payment to approved plans, funds, or programs In amounts less than the wage
determination requires is obliged to pay the deficiency directly to the employees as cash In lieu of fringes. Any
