Body to be 10' long by 7' wide inside with 28" sides and 36" tailgate. Body to have front and rear corner posts with at least three vertical side braces with a 7 1/4" wide face„ Body shall be constructed of 8 ga. high tensile steel throughout. All welding to be continuous. Dirt shedder running boards. Boxed top rail, side sloped running boards and bottom rub rail to be formed of one full length sheet. Floor of body to be one piece. Seam welded or spliced floor not acceptable. Body -sub -frame shall be stacked type with 6" I-beam longitudinals and 4" I --beam crossmembers on 1.2 centers. TAILGATE: Tailgate shall be a six panel with two vertical and one horizontal intermediate boxed braces. Horizontal and lower boxed brace to be sloped. Tailgate bracing to be 3 1/2" deep with double channel bracing on bottom of gate. Upper tailgate hardware to be 1 1/2" flame cut, offset type. Upper pin to 'be 1 1/8" case hardened with a minimum of 125,000 PSI tensile strength. Lower hardware to be offset type with lubrications fitting. CAB SHIELD: A 1/2" cab protector shall be provided. Body front panel and cab protector to be formed of one continuous sheet and extending 20" forward of front of body. MISCELLANEOUS: The dump body shall be equipped with front and rear splash guards for the rear wheels; underbody support prop and back up alarm. Body to be equipped with a Pioneer G1500 deluxe A automatic truck cover. A 4 sealed beam amber revolving light is to be mounted on cab roof with dash mounted switch.
