To rail size and length not shown - ,will probably mise 12"or I&it x 21 ft. Will use RO pipe instead of Sch 40 pipe. Does not call for terminal iost braces and truss rods. Assume typical bottom spring coil wire (7 gauge) and tie wire (9 gauge) would be used. Tinily MRK FENCE CO.- INC. ($7246.00) This proposal includes all materials required except terminal past braces, truss rods and type of schedule pipe. Length of posts not shown., assume 9' fill be used. This is only bid that indicates posts will be set in concrete. Have noticed that Twin Fork has not installed the terminal post braces and truss rods in some of their recent subdivision installations. They do use concrete around posts. RIVERHEO FENCE CO. No materials show. Bid # 1 ($9655.00) is for standard chain link fence as per. specifi- cations submitted by them. Bid # 2 ($12.,400.00) is for urinal coated chain link fencing with the same specifications. I do not have this subaUted information and do not know if their specifications meet the Tbwn standards. ART FENCE CO. This proposal covers all material required far conformance with Town specifications with exception of miscellaneous items (coil spring bottom wire and tie wire). Also, the length of posts is not shofm' probably an oversight. 'Their bid for the work is ;$11,4111.25 with an alternate bid of $1.0,170.00 using SS20 pipe. SPEARS nIvE, INC. ($15,600.00) 'ibe Spears bid apparently would meet the Town specifications. However, no materials cr dimensions are listed and no reference made to using vinal coated fencing. The closing statement says posts ;and rails are schedule 40 pipe, using Tom dimensions. With exception of Mn Fork no other bid calls for concrete around posts. The Town requires an approved lock, chain and triplicate keys at gates. This is not covered in any bid. Excluding the high bid of $15,600, the average of the next 3 high bids (vinal fencing) is $11,9111. The low bid is $7,246. This difference appears to b e out of proportion.
