Board and Office Policies, Practices, and Activities: ZBA lr eguired Annual Training for 2014 The four hours of the ZBA's required annual training, as approved by the Town. Board, were completed at the Special Meeting on November 20, 2014 with a final presentation by ATA Kiely. 1 have submitted this information to the Town Clerk for filing. Time Limits on ZBA Variances On November 18, 2014 the Town Board held a public hearing on draft legislation to amend Chapter 280, Zoning, to include time limits on variance relief granted by the Board of Appeals, effective January 1, 2015. The Board voted to close the hearing and table the resolution to approve the code change until the December: 2, 2014 Town Board meeting. III. Financial/Budget/Personnel Issues: ZBA 2015 Budget Proposal The 2015 ZBA budget proposal was approved as part of the Town's 2015 budget approval on November 18, 2015. 1 would like to thank the Town Board for addressing the steady increase in our department's work load over the past few years by approving the conversion of one of our two part time staff positions into a full time cleric typist position.
