Chapter 92 (Vehicles & Traffic) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended
as follows:
1. Article III, Section 92-30 (Stop & Yield Intersections) is hereby amended by adding
the following:

SUPERVISOR COCHRAN: The second hearing is in Relation to Installing Stop Sign at Pequash
Avenue.
COUNCILMAN MURPHY: ."NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN there has been presented to the Town
Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 8th day of May, 2001 a Local Law
entitled, "A Local Law in Relation to installing a Stop Signs At Pequash Avenue, Cutehogue, New
York",
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a
public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold,
New York, on the 22na day of May, 2001 at 5:02 p.m. at which time all interested persons will be
given an opportunity to be heard.
This proposed "Local Law In Relation to installing an installing a Stop Signs At Pequash
Avenue, Cutchogue, New York" which reads as follows:
BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as. follows:
I. Chapter 92 (Vehicles & Traffic) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby
amended as follows:

SUPERVISOR COCHRAN: You have heard the reading of a proposed Local Law in Relation to
installing a stop sign at Pequash Avenue in Cutchogue. Is there anyone that would like to speak either
pro or con on this new addition to the traffic code? (No response.) Hearing none, I will close the
hearing.
