A Local Law in Relation to Exemption for Disabled Persons With Limited Income
BE IT ENACTED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. ARTICLE IV, Exemption for Disabled Persons With Limited Income [Adopted 5-12- 1998 by L.L. No.7-
1998]
§ 85-9. Exemption granted.
A. Real property owned by a person with disabilities whose income is limited by such disabilities, and used
as the legal residence of such person, shall be entitled to a partial exemption from taxation to the extent of 50%
of assessed valuation.
B. To be eligible for the exemption authorized by such § 459-c and implemented by this article, the
maximum income of such person shall not exceed $19,500 20,500. Any such person having a higher income
shall be eligible for exemption in accordance with the following schedule:

COUNCILMAN RICHTER: "Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town~ Board
of the Town of Southold on the 30th day of January, 2001, "A Local Law to Exemption for Disabled
Persons with Limited Income"; and notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of
Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, 53095
Main Road, Southold, New York, and hereby sets 7:30 P.M., Tuesday, February 13, 2001, as the time
and place for a public hearing at which time all interested persons will be heard
