JUSTICE EVANS: 'mpublic Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 19th day of January, 1999, a Local Law entitled, 'A Local Law in Relation to Stop Sign on Pike Street", Chapter 92 of the Town Code of the Town of Southold. Notice is further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold, New York, and hereby sets 8:05 P.M., Tuesday, February 2, 1999 as the time and place for a public hearing on this Local Law, which reads as follows: A Local Law in Relation to Stop Sign on Pike Street BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows: I. Chapter 92 (Vehicles & Traffic) of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended as follows: 1. SUPERVISOR COCHRAN: Thank you, Louisa. Anyone like to address the Town Board on the stop sign on Pike Street in Mattituck? JOHN DIVELLO: John Divello from Mattituck. On my way home I come to that yield sign every night. I have never heard of any accidents at that intersection, and I am not against it, but I don't see why you need it. SUPERVISOR COCHRAN: I don't know who this was recommended by, the Highway Superintendent? I think there has been a request by the residents in the area. It was presented to us by the Superintendent of Highway Ray Jacobs, so he must have had a request. Thank you, John. Anyone else like to address the Town Board in relation to the stop sign?
