BOARD OF SOUTHOLD TOWN TRUSTEES
Meeting of OctOber 7, 1974
A regular meet'~ng ~of the Board of Southotd Town Trustees was held
at 7:30 P.M., Monday, October 7, 1974 at the Town Board meeting room,
16 South Street, ~reenport, New York, wi~h-~the following present:

Also present: Thomas ReeVe, Orville Terry
Mr. Angelo Petrucei appeared before the Board tO .discuss the bulE-
heading of his property off Bay Avenue, Cutchogue. The' Board
that this particular piece of property does not touch Town waters,
but advised him to contact the Department of Environmental Conservation
to'determine if he would a permit from them.
On motion of Mr. Gordon, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was
RESOLVED that Robert W. Foster, 315 Kouth Street, Greenport, New
York, be granted permission to place an onshore-offshore mooring
in Town Creek at the foot of Pine Neck Road, Southold, New York
all in accordance with the detailed specifications as presented
in the originating application. $5.00 fee.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Horton,
Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
On.motion of Mr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was
RESOLVED that Robert W. Foster, 515 South Street, Greenport, New
York, be ~ied permission to place an onshore-offshore mooring
in Richmond Creek off Indian Neck Lane, Peconic.
Vote of the B¢ard: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr. Horton,
Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
On motion of Mr. Gordon, seconded by Mr. Robertson, it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Southold Town Trustees recommend the
approval of Wetland Application No. 19 by Raymond E. Cl~empner,
for permission to build an open dock across the meadow at his
property at 1240 Inlet Lane, Greenport, New York. This type of
open construction has been urged by the ~Town Trustees in the~past,
prior to the passage of the Wetland Ordinance. It will allow for
the rise and fall of tide and will in no way interfere with the ecology

of the area.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr.
Morton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
On motion of Mr. Robertson, seconded by Mr. Gordon, it was
RESOLVED that Raymond E. Clempner, 1240 Inl~et Lane, Greenport,
New York, be granted permission to construct a ramp 4 ft. by
10 ft., float 6 ft. by 30 ft., with two mooring piles at his
property on 1240 Inlet Lane, Greenport, all in accordance with
the detailsd specifications as presented in the originating
application. Fee: $24.00. . ....

On motion of Mr. Gordon~asea~mded by Mr. Robertson, it was
RESOLVED that the Board of Southold Town Trustees recommends the
approval of Wetland Application No. 20 by Etsie Mastrosimone, for
permission to build an open dock across.the meadow at her property
on Inlet Lane Extension, Greenport, New York. This type of open
construction has been urged by the Town Trustees in the past, prior
to the passage of the Wetland Ordinance. It allows for~L~m~ rise and
fall of tide and will in no way interfere with the ecology of the
area.

Horton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
on motion of Mr. GordQn~eseconded by Mr. Robertson, it was
RESOLVED that Elsie Mastr~simone, Inlet Lane Extension, Greenport,
New York, be granted permission to construct a ramp 2½ ft. by
10 ft., float 6 ft. by 20 ft., with two mooring piles at her
property on Inlet Lane Extension, Greenport, New Y~rk, all in
accordance with the detailed specifications as presented in the
originating application. Fee: $16.50.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr.
Morton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
On motion of Mr. R6bertson, seconded by Mr. Gordon, it was
RESOLVED that John J. Holecek, 136 Main Street, Greenport, New
York, be granted permission to place an offshore mushroom mooring
in Gull Pond. off Inlet Lane Extension, all in accordance with
the detailed specifications as presented in the originating
application. Fee: $5.00.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr.
Morton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
An application was received from Frederick Falconer, Fleetwood
Road, Cutchogue, New York, for permission to construct a float,
ramp, catwalk, and two pilings in front of his property on Fleet-
wood Road, Cutehogue. The Board will investigate the site.
(There is also a plan to dredge an area 30 ft. by 30 ft., removing
approximately 100 cubic ~ards of fill around the area of the
proposed dock.)

On motion of Mr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Horton, it was
RESOLVED that the application of John Connoll¥, Laurel ~ake,
Mattituck, New York, for permission to place an onshore-offshore
mooring in Mattituck Creek~n~ar. the~park.distric~ property off
Rou~e 27A be and hereby is denied, as there insufficient area
available for the mooring of another boat at t~at site.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
On motion of Mr. ~Qrton, seconded by Mr. Bird, it was
RESOLVED that the September 10, 1974 minutes of the Board of
Southold Town Trustees be approved as submitted.
Vote-of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr%
Horton, Mr. Bird, Mr. Gordon.
On motion of Mr. Bird, seconded by Mr. Gordon, it was
RESOLVED that the next meeting of the Board of Southold Town
Trustees will be held at 7:30 P.M., Monday, November 11, 1974
at the Town Board meeting room, 16~ South Street, Greenport, New
York.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Mr. Goldsmith, Mr. Robertson, Mr.
Horton, Mr. Gordon, Mr. Bird.
