The Southold Town Board at a regular meeting held on
February 29, 1984 declared an emergency necessitating the
immediate repair of the Fiat-Allis Model 745-C, and authorized
the purchase of the necessary parts for the repairs at a cost
not to exceed $11,000.00.

The Southold Town Board at their regular meeting held on
February 29, 1984 adopted a resolution declaring an emergency
necessitating the immediate repair of the Fiat-Allis Model 745-C,
and authorized you to purchase the necessary parts for the repair
at a cost not to exceed $11,000.00; said amount to be paid from
the General Fund Whole Town Account A8160.4 Refuse and Garbage,
Contractual.

Dear Mr. Jacobs:
As you are aware of, our sales representative
visited your yard on December 9, 1983 and reviewed the trans-
mission problem on the Fiat-Allis model 745-C loader. Ziggy
asked us, and I am sending you this confirming quotation.
We at Van Buren are authorized Detroit Diesel Alli-
son dealers and will be performing all services mentioned
in our quote at our facility at Medford,Long Island. Fiat-
Allis uses Detroit Diesel Allison transmission in this par-
ticular loader. Quote is subject to the Town of Southold
transporting and picking up the loader in question. Quote
is subject to your approval within thirty (30) days from the
above date and is less any applicable taxes.
To unload subject vehicle from low-
boy trailer set .in place and perform
the necessary labor operations to re-
move and replace the transmission is
