a.This application MUST be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted to the Building Inspector with 4
sets of plans,accurate plot plan to scale.Fee according to schedule.
b.Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises,relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or
areas,and waterways.
c.The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d.Upon approval of this application,the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such a permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e.No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose what so ever until the Building Inspector
issues a Certificate of Occupancy.
£Every building permit shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months after the date of
issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date.If no zoning amendments or other regulations affecting the
property have been enacted in the interim,the Building Inspector may authorize,in writing,the extension of the permit for an
addition six months.Thereafter,a new permit shall be required.

-Proposed Garden House Construction
Matthew Sherman, PE of Sherman Engineering & Consulting (SECPC) has reviewed the Garden
House plans and specifications provided by Vixen Hill Cedar Products (vixen Hill) on behalf of the
property owner in addition to engineering and technical support documents as provided by Vixen Hill.
I have reviewed the applicable information and have determined that they comply with minimum
applicable requirements as set forth by the Residential and Energy Conservation Construction Code of
New York State.
A complete submittal of design and permitting information will include:
1. Plans prepared by Vixen Hill dated May 2013 (page 9) and June 2013 as annotated by
SECPC.
2. Site specific building design criteria.
The review does not include nor does it assume responsibility for the following:
1. Planning and lot placement of building on parcel.
2. Electrical connection to existing electrical systems on site.
3. The addition of mechanical, fuel gas, plumbing and electrical systems.
Additions or alterations to any documents bearing the seal of a NYS licensed Professional Engineer
are not permitted by NYS Education Law without the approval of the engineer of record. SECPC and
its engineer's responsibilities extend no further than the review of an annotation to project documents
as described herein. All documents discussed herein must be present and legible to be considered a
true and complete set.
