posted on the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board, and also publicized in the local
papers. That's it.
SUPERVISOR COCHRAN: At this time I will take comments from the
audience. Is there anyone that would like to speak either pro or con on a
"Local Law in Relation to No Parking Signs on Carroll Avenue. If I may
just as a word of explanation, the children playground is so successful up
there that the MOm's helped raise the funds for, that sometimes they have
up to thirty cars parked on Carroll Avenue. We found that they were
blocking driveways along this side, and we love the fact that the
playground has been successful for our young people, so we felt that it
would be proper for the homeowners if we put no parking on that side of
the street. In addition, we are looking at, I have met with the Highway
superintendent, and we are looking at on the front side of the park on the
grass area making a parking area such as we have on the backside of this
with gravel, and it as natural as we can possible do it. 'So, this is what
this all about. Anyone like to address the Town Board pro or con in
relation to no parking on Carroll Avenue. (No response.) If not, I will
close the hearing.
