This project is an asset to the area and will be appreciated by many. I'A A THIS AGREEMENT made this 4y day of December, 1982, between the TOWN OF SOUTHOLD, a municipal corporation of the State of New York, having its office and principal place of business at Main Road, Southold, New York, here- inafter called the "Town", and TWIN FORK FENCE, INC., a domestic corporation of the State of New York having its office and principal place of business at County Route 48, Mattituck, New York, hereinafter called the "Contractor". WHEREAS, the Town did heretofore advertise for bids for the furnishing and installation of fencing at two drainage sumps of the Town as appears on the Notice to Bidders hereinto annexed and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, the contractor submitted a bid for such fence work in the amount of $8, 246. 00, and WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town accepted the bid of the Contractor by resolution duly adopted on the 21st day of December, 1982. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Contractor does hereby agree to furnish and install the fences at two Town drainage sumps located east of Duck Pond Road, Cutchogue, New York, and the north side of Main Road, west of Bridge Lane, Cutchogue, New York, all in accordance with the Notice to Bidders, Specifications and the Contractor's Bid, all of which are annexed hereto and made a part hereof. 2. The Town does hereby agree to pay the Contractor for the work, the total sum of $8, 246. 00, which said sum is to be paid to the Contractor within ten (10) days of the completion of said work and the acceptance thereof by the Town. too 3. It is hereby understood and agreed by and between the parties hereto that the funds for the performance of the work provided for herein are provided by the Federal Government under the Community Development Block Grant Program and that, accordingly, the Contractor does hereby agree to comply with all of the requirements of the Federal Government applicable to said work, said requirements being annexed hereto and made a part hereof.
