Cochran COUNCILWOMAN HUSSIE: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, on the 28th day of October, 1997, A Local Law entitled, "Local Law in Relation to the South Harbor Road". Notice 's further given that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Roadr Southold, New York, on the 12th day of November, 1997, at 8:05 P.M., at which time all interested persons will be heard. I didn't think so. I was wrong. Please state your name for the record. BOB FITZPATRICK: My name is Bob Fitzpatrick, and I live on Old Wood Path, and I encourage this new rule, because I walk that particular area at least six days a week, and sometimes seven, and find that it is real'ly one of the beauty spots in this town. It really has been desecrated. I assume the young because of the paraphernalia they leave behind. I don~t any grown-ups that either smoke that much, or chew that much gum, forgetting .the beer. Grown-ups will drink beer. At any rate, it is a mess. I think th~s ~Vill be very~ helpful to stop that mess. The thing that I would only work if there with some dr!nking. There be going on.
