ON A PROPOSED "LOCAL LAW IN RELATION TO ROAD ENDS".

SUPERVISOR COCHRAN: The next one is a hearing on a "Local Law in
Relation to Road Ends", and that will be read by Councilman Moore.
COUNCILMAN MOORE: "Public Notice is hereby given that there has been
presented to the Town Board of the town of Southold, Suffolk County,
New York, on the 28th day of May, 1996, a Local Law entitled, "A
Local Law in Relation to Road Ends". Notice is further given that the
Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the
aforesaid Local Law at the Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold,
New York, on the 11th day of June, 1996, at 5:05 P.M., at which time
all interested persons will be heard. The proposed "Local Law in
Relation to Road Ends" reads as follows:
BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
I. Chapter 65 (Parking at Beaches) of the Code of the Town of
Southold is hereby amended as follows:
1. Section 65-2 (Designation of parking areas requiring permits)
is amended by adding the following:
(B) the following road ends are hereby designated as
Town of Southold "Parking by Southold Town Permit
Only" areas:
(2) Lands End Road, Orient, along both sides
From the terminus southerly for a distance of
325 feet.
II. This Local Law shall take effect upon the filing with the Secretary
of State.

any interested persons during business hours. Dated: May 28, 1996.

notice was posted on the Bulletin Board by Judith Terry, and that is all.

response.) Hearing none, I will close the hearing.
