There is no correspondence, but there is verification of posting on the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board, and also, publication in The Suffolk Times. SUPERVISOR WICKHAM: You've heard the hearing. Any member of the audience is welcome to address the Board for up to ten minutes on this proposed hearing regarding stop signs, which really basically puts a four way stop at that intersection. Anyone like to address the Board on this hearing? MARGARET BROWN: My name is Margaret Brown, and I happen to use that intersection at least six times a day probably, and I was surprised, I was really surprised when that stop sign appeared on North Bayview heading across Jacobs Lane. I have to say it brought me up short. It's actually wonderful, because every time I'm coming in from town, and I get to that intersection, and I know people don't even look when they go along North Bayview, and it's real scary, and with the trees, and the turns, and the bad lighting in the evening, [ am very grateful for these signs. Thank you. SUPERVISOR WICKHAM: Thank you, Margaret. Anyone else llke to address the Board? FRANK CARLIN: Frank Carlin. This is A four way stop. Normally I'm usually seeing that there is a caution light in one direction, and there would be a flashing red light on the other direction, meaning that one direction you have to make a full stop, and the other direction is caution. But, no, you're going to have four full stop signs, I've got my book here, four full stop signs. That's great, believe me. Okay. I'm going in that direction. You're coming from that direction. We both stop. Who has the right of way to go first? Who takes off? COUNCILWOMAN HUSSIE: The person on the right. FRANK CARLIN: How about the other direction? The same way? TOWN CLERK TERRY: It's on the right all the way around. Page 3 FRANK CARLIN: All right. SUPERVISOR WlCKHAM: Would anyone else like to address the Board on this proposed four way stop sign, and the public hearing for that purpose? (No response.) If not, I declare the hearing closed.
