Judith T. Terry, Southold Town Clerk.~' I have an affidavit that said it was published in The Suffolk Times, and, also, on the Town Clerk's Bulletin Board. There is no correspondence. SUPERVISOR WICKHAM: Just a comment, this Local Law is proposed for adoption, and if adopted the Town becomes eligible for New York State support for an early retirement system by which a few Town employees could voluntarily seek early retirement for their benefit, and also, the Town's. Is there any comment from anyone who would like to address the Board on this proposed Law? Yes, sir, Mr. Siegmann? ED SIEGMANN: I only want to ask a question. Would be offering this to people, that you would have to replace, or would this be offered to people that you want to give an opportunity to go, that you can save on the cost of running government? SUPERVISOR WICKHAM: The rules of the program are, that it will apply only to people who's positions will be abolished. You can't just reinstitute the same position after the person has left. Is there anyone else, who would like to clarify, or make a comment on this proposal? (No response.). Hearing none, I declare the hearing closed. ~' 'Judith T.
